Made from anodized aluminum with a sturdy hinge and raised lip, the unit is designed specifically for mobile living — offering rigidity and low weight so it won’t overly stress thin interior walls. All mounting hardware is included for a straightforward install and the folded position locks securely to avoid rattling on the road.

How strong and durable is the WanDwel folding shelf?

The shelf is fabricated from high-quality aluminum with a gray finish that resists corrosion and stays lightweight. Its hinge system is engineered to be stiff enough to hold items steady while providing smooth folding action so the shelf won't flop open when the vehicle moves.

Material: anodized aluminum for strength and light weight

Hinge: high-friction hinge prevents vibration and unintentional opening

Edge design: raised lip and rounded corners secure small items

Weight: approximately 12 ounces, minimizing wall strain

Will installing this shelf damage my RV walls?

The shelf uses 1.1-inch screws and includes all required hardware so installation is minimally invasive when mounted into suitable wall studs or backing. Because the unit itself is very light, it won’t exert excessive pull on thin panels when used for everyday items.

Included hardware: screws and mounting parts supplied in the package

Screw length: 1.1 inches to avoid deep penetration into thin wall skins

Installation tip: fasten into studs, blocking, or use appropriate anchors for hollow walls

Removable: can be uninstalled without large structural changes

How large a surface does the 12-inch shelf provide and what fits on it?

At 12 inches wide, the shelf gives enough space for common small items without projecting far into walking areas.
