1. Who we are

British Garage is an online retailer of car accessories, care products and tools, selling to customers in the United Kingdom. Contact: britishgarage.co.uk@gmail.com.

2. Prices and payment

All prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Delivery within the UK is free. Payment is taken at the time of order through Shopify’s secure checkout. If a pricing error is discovered before dispatch we will contact you and offer the correct price or a full refund.

3. Your order

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send the dispatch confirmation. We may decline an order where an item is unavailable, where we cannot verify payment, or where the delivery address is outside the UK; in each case any payment is refunded in full.

4. Product information and fitment

We describe products as accurately as we can, including the vehicles or fitting types they suit. Where a listing names a vehicle and the item does not fit it, we cover the return and refund in full. Where a listing does not name your vehicle, please ask us before ordering; the responsibility for checking fitment otherwise rests with you.

5. Delivery

See our delivery policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery; ownership passes when payment is received in full.

6. Returns and cancellation

See our returns and refunds policy. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 are not affected.

7. Safe use

Products must be installed and used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and UK law. Some items — for example LED headlight bulbs in halogen units, or certain tints and lighting — are not road-legal in all applications; the listing says so where we know it, and it remains your responsibility to ensure a product is legal for your use.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any matter that cannot be limited under UK law. Otherwise our liability to you in connection with an order is limited to the price paid for that order. We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was made.

9. Intellectual property

Text, images and guides on this site are the property of British Garage or used with permission and may not be reproduced without consent. Brand names belong to their owners and are used only to describe compatibility.

10. Privacy

11. Complaints and disputes

Email us first; most issues are resolved within a working day. If you remain unhappy you may refer the matter to Citizens Advice or use the small claims track of the county court. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

12. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.
