5 PLUS Silicone Windscreen Wipers 18" Pair — J-Hook Fit, Graphene-Coated Edge for Quieter, Longer-Lasting Performance

5 PLUS 18" Premium Silicone Windshield Wipers are a pair of J-hook compatible blades engineered to shed water, resist weathering, and provide quieter, longer-lasting windshield contact than standard rubber blades.

These 18-inch silicone blades from 5 PLUS replace conventional rubber wipers with a coated silicone edge and reinforced metal spine designed to conform to modern windshield curves. They fit vehicles that use the common J-hook/U-hook arm and are presented as an OEM-style replacement for a range of models; use the seller's fit-check tool where available to confirm compatibility before purchase.

How do these silicone blades improve visibility in wet weather?

The silicone wiping edge encourages water to bead and run off the glass quickly, reducing streaking and the need for repeated passes. Coating and edge design work together to clear water efficiently so you get improved sight lines during rain.

• Silicone edge repels water for faster bead formation and removal.
• Graphene-coated strip lowers friction for smoother wipes.
• Double spring steel strips help maintain constant glass contact.

Will these wipers stand up to sun, heat, and cold?

The 5 PLUS silicone formulation is chosen for temperature resilience; it resists hardening in cold and keeps shape in heat better than many rubber compounds. A UV-stable coating also helps prevent cracking and deterioration from sun exposure.

• UV-resistant silicone reduces sun damage and cracking.
• Stable at high temperatures without deforming.
• Remains flexible in low temperatures for reliable wiping.

How easy is installation and does it fit my car’s wiper arm?

These blades are made for J/U-hook wiper arms and are designed for a quick, tool-free swap—often taking less than a minute per side for experienced users. The product listing recommends using an official fit-check (for example the seller's "Amazonconfirmedfit" tool) to confirm vehicle compatibility.

• Includes J-hook adaptor for fast, tool-free mounting.
• Installation typically takes around 10 seconds per blade.
• Seller support available for fit or installation questions.

How durable and quiet are these blades compared with regular rubber?

The blades combine a reinforced metal backbone with precision memory steel springs and a silicone wiping edge to reduce wear and noise. The graphene treatment on the silicone strip further cuts friction and noise while adding a protective layer to extend service life.

• Upgraded metal base with twin memory springs for even pressure.
• Graphene-coated silicone reduces friction and audible chatter.
• Lab-tested lifespan claims indicate multiple times longer use versus standard rubber in controlled tests.

Who is this for: Drivers who want a straightforward OEM-style replacement wiper set that fits J-hook arms and prioritizes clearer wet-weather vision, reduced noise, and longer lifespan than conventional rubber blades. Ideal for owners of compatible vehicles (including some Mazda MX-5 Miata, Chevrolet HHR, and Jeep Commander model years) who prefer a low-maintenance, weather-resistant alternative to stock wipers.
