A-Premium Cabin Air Filter for BMW — Activated Carbon, Direct-Fit Replacement (Single)

A-Premium cabin air filter with activated carbon protects BMW interiors by trapping dust, pollen, odors and exhaust particles before they enter the passenger compartment.

This replacement cabin filter is engineered for a wide range of BMW models and fits under the hood, offering multi-layer filtration that includes activated carbon to help reduce odors and gaseous contaminants. Designed as a direct-fit aftermarket part, it comes boxed and ready for straightforward installation following your vehicle’s service procedures. The filter’s dimensions and reference numbers match common OEM and aftermarket listings, making it easier to verify compatibility for your specific BMW.

Which BMW vehicles will this A-Premium cabin air filter fit?

The A-Premium cabin filter is compatible with many BMW sedans, coupes and compact SUVs produced between 2006 and 2016. Check the list of model years and engine variants to confirm fitment for your car, especially for xDrive or diesel versions.

• Compatible models include: 128i/135i (2008–2013), 328i/335i (2007–2013), 328i xDrive/335i xDrive (2009–2013), and others.
• Also fits X1 (2012–2016), 335d (2009–2011), and various 3-series trims from 2006–2013.
• Reference numbers provided (CF10727, CAF5624C, PC5624C-P, etc.) help cross-check against existing parts.

What does the activated carbon layer do for cabin air quality?

The activated carbon layer adsorbs odors and some gaseous pollutants that a standard paper filter cannot remove. This reduces smells from traffic, exhaust and parking environments, helping the cabin feel fresher between filter changes.

• Adsorbs common vehicle odors and volatile compounds for improved interior comfort.
• Works alongside the multi-layer particulate media to capture dust, pollen and debris.
• Not washable or reusable — replace per the vehicle manufacturer’s interval.

How easy is installation and what are the filter’s physical specs?

The filter is a direct-fit design intended to install in the under-hood cabin intake on compatible BMWs; typical installation follows the same steps as the OEM filter. Its boxed packaging includes one unit, and the non-washable construction means simple swap-out replacement is recommended.

• Location: under hood cabin intake; packaged as a single boxed unit.
• Dimensions: length 32.68 inch, width 6.14 inch, height 1.06 inch — verify against old filter.
• Replace annually or around every 12,000 miles, or sooner in dusty conditions.

How long will this cabin filter last and when should I replace it?

Service life depends on driving environment and exposure to pollutants; A-Premium recommends replacement approximately every 12 months or 12,000 miles. If you drive in heavy-traffic, dusty or industrial areas, inspect the filter more frequently and replace earlier as needed.

• Standard recommendation: replace yearly or every 12,000 miles.
• Check sooner if you notice reduced HVAC airflow, unusual odors or visible debris buildup.
• Non-washable construction — dispose and reinstall a new filter at replacement interval.
