What should I verify before ordering to avoid fitment problems?

Confirm your truck's model year and body style against the listed fitment range, and compare the existing part's reference numbers to the ones provided. If your tailgate has aftermarket modifications, review measurements and mounting points to guarantee compatibility.

• Match make, model, and year to the published fitment lists for Chevy and GMC.
• Cross-check reference numbers: handle and bezel part IDs provided in product details.
• Inspect the tailgate for added brackets or alterations that could affect fitment.
• Plan for painting if you need an exact color match—the plastic is paintable.
