Acdion Portable Dashboard Car Compass — ABS Floating Ball Dial, Compact 2x2.5x3 in

The Acdion Portable Dashboard Compass is a small, durable ABS car compass with a floating ball dial that gives clear offline directional guidance for drivers.

Keep steady bearings even when you step away from phone maps. This compact Acdion dashboard compass offers a mechanical, battery-free way to check headings at a glance. Built from lightweight ABS plastic with a sensitive floating dial, it installs on most dashboards and works for road trips, camping, and backup navigation when electronics fail.

How accurate and sensitive is the floating ball dial?

The compass uses a floating, weighted dial that pivots easily to point north, providing visible heading information without electronics. The dial’s printed scale is large and clear, reducing reading errors while driving. Though not a surveyor’s instrument, it gives reliable orientation for general navigation and route-finding.

• Floating ball dial for quick needle settlement
• Large printed scale for easier reading from the driver’s seat
• Sensitive pivoting action for smoother alignment
• Suitable for everyday navigation and outdoor activities

How do I install and position the compass on my dashboard?

Installation is straightforward: clean and dry a flat area of the dashboard, then place the compass so the ball sits level. No tools or wiring are required, and the unit’s compact footprint won’t block your view. Repositioning takes seconds if you want to fine-tune sightlines or reduce glare.

• Wipe dashboard surface clean and dry before mounting
• Place compass on a level spot so the ball can settle accurately
• No adhesives or wiring needed for temporary placement
• Easily moved between vehicles as needed

Will this compass fit my car and handle driving conditions?

The Acdion compass is made to suit most vehicle dashboards thanks to its small size and light weight. ABS construction resists impact and temperature changes common inside cars. It’s not affected by phone service and works equally well as a decorative accent or a practical tool when you need an offline reference.

• Compact dimensions: about 2 x 2.5 x 3 inches
• Lightweight design at roughly 0.2 pounds
• Durable ABS material tolerates daily wear and heat
• Compatible with most cars, vans, and SUVs

What uses beyond driving can this compass support?

Because it’s portable and robust, the compass also works for outdoor pursuits and as a small gift or dashboard accessory. It’s useful for camping, hiking approaches, fishing trips, or as a quick orientation tool when exploring unfamiliar terrain. The simplicity makes it a low-maintenance backup for any adventure.

• Handy addition for camping and hiking gear
• Practical for anglers and short excursions off-grid
• Attractive, unobtrusive dashboard ornament or gift
• No batteries or electronics to fail in the field
