AiBOB Oil Spill Mat 36" x 50" Waterproof Garage Mat — Absorbent Polyester Top & Rubber Backing

AiBOB Oil Spill Mat is a 36" x 50" waterproof garage mat with a highly absorbent polyester top and rubber backing designed to catch oil, grease, and workshop spills.

This heavy-duty mat combines an absorbent felt-like polyester surface with a waterproof rubber underside to protect floors from oil, coolant, and other workshop fluids. The 36" x 50" size covers a large footprint in garages, under equipment, or beneath shelving; the material trims cleanly with scissors so you can customize fit without fraying. Built for repeated use and easy cleaning, the mat balances durability with a low-profile design that stays put and keeps messes contained.

How well does the mat absorb and contain vehicle fluids?

The polyester top layer soaks up oil, grease, and non-corrosive automotive fluids while the rubber backing prevents liquid from reaching the floor below. You get fast surface pickup plus a waterproof barrier that reduces seepage and staining.

• Absorbent polyester felt-style top draws fluids in quickly
• Waterproof rubber underside blocks leaks and protects concrete
• Suitable for engine oil, gear oil, and light workshop liquids

Can I cut the mat to fit shelves, trays, or awkward spaces?

Yes—AiBOB’s mat trims easily with household scissors and the edges will not fray, making it simple to size for shelves, tool chests, or custom work areas. Mark your measurements, cut, and lay the mat; the rubber backing helps the trimmed piece stay flat and stable.

• Clean-cut edges—won't unravel after trimming
• Fits shelving, cabinets, or under tools when trimmed
• Customizable for odd shapes or smaller containment zones

How do I maintain and clean the AiBOB oil spill mat?

The compact felt structure resists tearing and is machine-washable or hand-washable with detergent for routine maintenance. For heavy contamination, rinse and repeat; allow to dry fully before reuse to preserve the rubber backing and absorbent performance.

• Washable with mild detergent—air dry for best results
• Durable construction withstands repeated cleaning cycles
• Odorless, BPA- and phthalate-free materials for safer handling

Will the mat shift underfoot or under equipment?

The waterproof rubber backing provides grip and helps keep the mat in place on concrete, tile, or workshop flooring. Its low-profile design reduces tripping hazards while remaining stable beneath boxes, tool cabinets, or parked equipment.

• Rubber underside increases floor traction and stability
• Low profile reduces curling and tripping risk
• Holds position under moderate foot traffic and equipment
