AIYONFEI's 12V 8‑amp smart charger is an all‑in‑one automatic solution that charges, maintains, and helps restore 12V lead‑type batteries while protecting against reverse polarity, overcharge and short circuits.
This compact, fully automatic charger is designed for 12V car, motorcycle, boat and lawn equipment batteries. It supplies up to 8 amps for faster replenishing and switches to trickle maintain modes for long‑term storage, with temperature compensation and a backlit LCD for real‑time charging data. The unit supports multiple battery chemistries common in automotive and powersports use, plus a dedicated maintenance/repair routine for sulfated lead‑acid batteries.
The AIYONFEI charger automatically detects and adapts charging profiles for many 12V battery types, including AGM, GEL, EFB, VRLA, flooded lead‑acid and certain LiFePO4 batteries when protected by a BMS. It will not charge 24V systems or unsupported lithium chemistries, and some lithium batteries require specific precautions.
Built‑in protections guard against overcharging, overvoltage, reverse polarity and short circuits, while the housing uses fire‑resistant ABS and includes cooling to maintain safe operation. Temperature compensation alters charging voltage depending on ambient conditions to avoid under‑ or over‑charging in heat or cold.
Yes—alongside regular charging it offers a trickle maintenance mode and an advanced pulse repair/maintenance program designed to help recover partially sulfated lead‑acid batteries. Trickle (motorcycle) mode monitors voltage and resumes charging automatically when the battery falls below the set threshold.
The charger plugs into a standard AC outlet and connects to the battery with a 65cm output lead; the input cord is approximately 150cm for flexible placement. Its automatic operation, clear LCD readout and protective features make it beginner‑friendly and reduce the risk of user error.
Who is this for: The AIYONFEI 12V 8‑amp smart trickle charger is ideal for drivers, motorcyclists, boat owners, landscapers and fleet managers who need a reliable, multifunction charger to quickly replenish 12V batteries and then maintain them during storage. It also suits DIYers and hobbyists who want an automatic, safe charger with desulfation capabilities to extend the usable life of lead‑acid batteries. Avoid use with unsupported lithium chemistries and any 24V systems.
Q: Will this charger work on my 12V LiFePO4 battery?
A: It can charge LiFePO4 only if the battery has a BMS and supports the charger's profile; do not use trickle mode for LiFePO4.
Q: Can the charger revive a dead car battery?
A: The maintenance/repair mode can help recover partially sulfated batteries above 0.3V, but it cannot revive fully depleted 0V batteries.
