Alien Sunshade Jeep Wrangler JK 2-Door Full-Length Mesh Sun Shade — Black UV-Resistant Breathable Cover

Alien Sunshade's full-length mesh sun shade for 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK 2-door gives open-air driving with reliable sun protection and easy, tool-free installation.

Enjoy the freedom of a topless Jeep without the constant glare, hot seats, or sunburn risk. This full-length mesh shade fits the 2-door Wrangler JK (2007–2018) and works with factory hard tops, soft tops, and Freedom Panels so you can leave the shade installed while switching roof configurations. Built from durable polyester with reinforced seams and metal grommets, it’s designed to endure outdoor use while keeping the cabin cooler and more comfortable.

How does this shade keep my Wrangler cooler and more comfortable?

The breathable mesh reduces direct sunlight and UV exposure while preserving airflow, so you still get the open-air sensation. It blocks a significant portion of sunlight that would otherwise heat surfaces and occupants, lowering interior temperatures on sunny days.

• Full-length coverage for both front and rear seating areas
• Breathable polyester mesh that allows ventilation
• UV-resistant fabric to limit sun exposure
• Helps reduce seat and dashboard heating

Will it fit my Jeep and require special tools to install?

Yes—the shade is specifically sized for 2-door Jeep Wrangler JK models (2007–2018) and installs without tools or vehicle modification. Bungee cords and grommet attachment points secure the shade to roll bars and anchor points for a snug, stable fit.

• Designed for 2007–2018 JK 2-door Wranglers
• Works with factory hard top, soft top, and Freedom Panels
• No drilling, cutting, or vehicle changes required
• Install in under 30 minutes using included bungees

How durable is the Alien Sunshade and how does it hold up outdoors?

The shade is constructed from high-quality polyester with double-stitched edges and treated metal grommets to resist wear and keep attachment points strong. The materials are selected for outdoor exposure, offering long service life when cared for properly.

• Heavy-duty polyester fabric resists tearing
• Double-sewn hems for reinforced edges
• Rust-resistant treated metal grommets for secure anchoring
• Colorfast materials to reduce fading over time

How easy is setup, removal, and storage?

Setup is straightforward: wrap the supplied bungee cords around the roll bars and attach through grommets for a tight fit. The shade can remain in place when switching tops, and when removed it folds compactly for convenient storage in your cargo area.

• No tools required for both installation and removal
• Kept in place with elastic bungee cords for quick adjustments
• Compact folding makes storage simple between adventures
• Leave it installed when using factory tops or Freedom Panels

Who is this for? The Alien Sunshade full-length mesh top is ideal for Jeep owners who love open-air driving but want protection from harsh sun and heat. It’s a strong choice for weekend off-roaders, daily drivers who park often in sunlight, and anyone who switches between hard and soft tops and wants a permanent, easy-to-use shade solution without modifying their vehicle.
