Alien Sunshade's Black Bikini Top for Jeep Wrangler JKU 2007–2018 is a two-piece, quick-install sunshade that provides UV protection and a stable topless driving experience without removing your hardtop.

This two-piece bikini top is designed specifically for 4-door Jeep Wrangler JKU models made between 2007 and 2018. It combines a clean, customized look with practical features—no tools required for installation, compatibility with both factory soft and hard tops, and highway-tested stability. The Black finish offers a subtle, factory-style appearance that complements most Jeep trims while helping reduce direct sun exposure for driver and passengers.

How quickly can I install the Alien Sunshade on my JKU?

Installation is built to be straightforward and tool-free. The two-piece design slips into place and secures with bungee cords around the roll bars so you can have it fitted in minutes—not hours.

• No tools required; installs in minutes.
• 2-piece layout fits around existing freedom panels.
• Bungee fasteners loop around roll bars for quick tensioning.
• Rear hardtop removal is not necessary.

Will the bikini top stay stable at highway speeds and reduce noise?

Yes—this Alien Sunshade model has been highway-speed tested and includes tensioning bungees that keep the fabric taut, minimizing flapping and wind noise. That means you retain the open-air feel of a topless drive with fewer distractions from fabric movement.

• Bungees maintain a tight fit to reduce flapping.
• Highway-tested for secure performance at travel speeds.
• Designed to work with roll bar geometry for consistent tension.
• Less wind noise compared with loose or generic shades.

Can I leave the Alien Sunshade on with my factory tops installed?

The Alien Sunshade is compatible with both factory soft and hardtops and is designed so you do not have to remove it when attaching or removing the Jeep’s factory tops. Access to freedom panel latches is preserved, so you won’t lose functionality.

• 100% compatible with factory soft and hardtops.
• Freedom panel latches remain accessible.
• Works with stock hardtop installations—no removal needed.
• Keeps shade on the vehicle for everyday use and quick drives.

How does the bikini top protect from sun while keeping an open-air feel?

The sunshade blocks direct sun exposure over the front and rear seating areas while maintaining the open-air aesthetic of a topless Jeep. Fabric is chosen to reduce UV exposure and lower heat from direct sunlight without fully enclosing the cabin.

• Provides shade for driver and passengers to reduce sun exposure.
• Helps keep interior surfaces cooler under direct sunlight.
• Maintains open-air driving sensation with partial coverage.
• Black color offers a subtle, factory-matching look.
