ALMULOO Double DIN Dash Cover Kit for 1999–2002 Silverado Sierra — Matte Black, Direct-Fit Replacement

The ALMULOO Double DIN Dash Cover Kit replaces the factory radio bezel in 1999–2002 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks to create a secure, factory-looking opening for a double DIN head unit.

Designed specifically for the 1999–2002 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, this dash cover converts the factory single-DIN or OEM radio opening into a clean double-DIN space so you can install modern stereos, navigation units, or touchscreen multimedia systems. Built from durable plastic with a matte black finish, the kit is meant to match interior trim while protecting mounting points and wiring during installation.

How will this dash cover improve my truck’s dash when I install a new head unit?

Replacing the original bezel with the ALMULOO double DIN kit gives a finished, integrated appearance and secures the new stereo in the correct position. It prevents gaps, rattles, and exposed wiring, making the upgrade look like a factory option rather than an aftermarket retrofit.

• Creates a precise double-DIN opening for modern radios and screens
• Matte black surface blends with existing dashboard tones
• Helps reduce vibration and noise around the head unit area

What vehicles and part numbers does this kit replace?

This dash cover is made to fit 1999–2002 Chevy and GMC full-size trucks and is a compatible replacement for several factory part numbers. That makes it a direct-fit aftermarket alternative for owners replacing worn or damaged bezels.

• Fitment: 1999–2002 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra
• Compatible replacements for 15731974, 15772850, 15085844, 15046575
• Designed to match factory mounting locations and trim lines

How difficult is installation and what comes in the box?

Installation is intended to be user-friendly and does not require cutting or drilling into the dash, but some automotive experience is helpful. The kit arrives with the dash cover and the mounting accessories needed for attachment; an instruction manual is not included, so professional installation is recommended if you are unsure.

• Includes: 1 dash cover and necessary mounting hardware
• No drilling or cutting specified for standard installs
• Professional installation advised for best fit and wiring integration

What material is the bezel made from and how will it hold up?

The bezel is molded from a high-quality plastic designed to withstand everyday use inside a truck cabin. Its matte finish resists glare and hides fingerprints while matching many factory interiors for a long-lasting, inconspicuous appearance.

• Durable plastic construction for long service life
• Matte black finish minimizes reflections and matches dash trim
• Resists common wear from handling and installation work

Who is this for? The ALMULOO Double DIN Dash Cover Kit is aimed at owners of 1999–2002 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks who want a neat, secure opening for a modern double-DIN stereo or navigation system. It suits DIY installers with basic vehicle audio experience and professional shops upgrading older trucks where a factory-like finish and proper mounting are priorities.
