Alpinestars youth neck roll S/M — Sequence junior neck support, double-density core, low-profile comfort

The Alpinestars Youth Sequence Neck Roll S/M is a junior-specific neck support designed to reduce and redirect impact forces while keeping young riders comfortable and stable.

Built around a hybrid, double-density core and an ergonomically profiled shape, the Sequence neck roll offers targeted protection for children and smaller riders who need a lower-profile, age-appropriate solution. It pairs a soft PU foam base with a firmer EVA layer to absorb and spread energy, and its extended tail helps maintain correct positioning on shoulders during movement. Lightweight and shaped for a kid's anatomy, this neck roll is intended as an introductory step toward more advanced neck support systems.

How does the Sequence neck roll protect a young rider on impact?

Protection is achieved by combining materials and geometry that redirect force away from the upper neck. The hard top layer distributes load across the accessory while the softer bottom cushions contact with the shoulders.

• Double-density core: soft PU foam under a harder EVA layer for energy dissipation
• Hard top section spreads impact forces to a larger area
• Ergonomic frame channels energy away from the upper neck

Will this neck roll stay in place during active riding?

The Sequence includes an extended tail and a body-contoured profile to improve position stability during dynamic movement. The shape helps it settle against the shoulders, reducing unwanted rotation or slipping under normal riding conditions.

• Extended tail maintains alignment with the rider's torso
• Ergonomic shaping designed specifically for child body proportions
• Low-profile S/M sizing for smaller neck and shoulder geometry

Is the Sequence comfortable for long sessions and easy for kids to wear?

Comfort was a priority: a soft lower section touches the shoulders and neck to minimize pressure points, while the overall weight and profile are kept low so younger riders can move freely. The internal soft zones provide cushioning without compromising protection performance.

• Bottom soft section reduces abrasion and pressure on shoulders
• Internal soft padding creates a comfortable interface with clothing
• Lightweight construction suitable for extended use

How do I choose the right size and integrate it with other gear?

Select the S/M size for younger or smaller riders per Alpinestars sizing guidance and ensure the neck roll sits comfortably over the collar of the jacket. It's designed as a starting-level neck support that complements standard protective jerseys or jackets.

• S/M fits junior/younger rider proportions — check manufacturer size chart
• Works with most jackets when positioned over the shoulders and collar
• Should sit flush against the torso without forcing head posture
