Amooca Tailgate Pad for Mountain Bikes — Waterproof 5-Bike Pickup Truck Cover with Thick Padding & Storage

Amooca Tailgate Pad is a heavy-duty, waterproof tailgate cover that cushions and secures up to five mountain bikes while protecting your pickup's tailgate from dings, scratches, and water.

Whether you're hauling bikes to the trailhead or carrying gear between jobs, a tailgate pad saves time and prevents damage that can be costly to repair. This Amooca model is built from rugged 600D Oxford fabric with thick internal padding and a waterproof internal layer, designed specifically to block impacts, dirt, and moisture. It also adds organized storage and easy access to your tailgate latch so loading and unloading stays simple.

How many bikes can this tailgate pad safely hold?

The Amooca tailgate pad is constructed to support multiple bicycles simultaneously. Thickened internal padding distributes the load and the integrated top fixing straps stabilize each bike to reduce shifting while driving.

• Holds up to five mountain or hybrid bikes depending on frame size.
• Individual top straps keep frames upright and secure.
• Padded backing prevents direct metal-to-metal contact with the tailgate.

Will it fit my pickup truck and allow tailgate access?

Adjustable woven straps and a universal sizing approach let the pad accommodate most pickup and full-size truck tailgates. A central flip cover gives direct access to the tailgate latch and avoids blocking a rearview camera.

• Lengthened, adjustable straps fit small and full-size trucks.
• 12.4" x 5.7" flip cover lets you reach the latch without removing the pad.
• Central opening positioned to preserve reversing-camera sightlines.

How does the Amooca pad protect against weather and wear?

Built with a 600D Oxford outer face and a waterproof inner layer, the pad blocks moisture and mud while the thick padding absorbs scratches and impact. Reflective stripes increase visibility for safer night driving.

• 600D Oxford fabric resists tears, abrasion, and road grime.
• Inserted waterproof cloth prevents moisture transfer to the tailgate.
• Thick padding reduces dents and shocks from bike frames.
• Two reflective stripes improve nighttime visibility at a glance.

What storage or convenience features are included?

This model includes practical pockets and simple mounting hardware to keep small tools and accessories within reach while out riding. Tool bags attach to the pad so essential items travel with your bikes.

• Three external tool bags for pumps, multitools, or spare parts.
• Quick-install straps for fast mounting and removal.
• Low-profile design keeps bikes close to the tailgate for compact transport.

Who this is for: The Amooca Tailgate Pad is ideal for mountain bikers, commuters, and outdoors enthusiasts who regularly transport multiple bikes and want to protect their truck finish. It's also a practical choice for tradespeople who value tailgate protection plus quick access to tools. If you need a durable, weather-resistant solution that balances bike security, tailgate access, and onboard storage, this tailgate pad is a useful upgrade.
