This compact connector simplifies connecting and disconnecting battery-fed devices such as winches, RV systems, forklifts and portable inverters. Constructed with silver-plated copper terminals and a flame-retardant polycarbonate housing, it balances efficient conductivity with rugged environmental resistance. The design accepts both 6 AWG and 8 AWG conductors, uses a spring-lock contact for vibration-proof performance, and is intended for repeated insertions in demanding conditions.
The ANKG plug uses silver-plated copper terminals to lower contact resistance and reduce heating during sustained current flow. Its stainless steel spring contacts maintain firm pressure on mating surfaces, preserving conductivity through vibration and movement.
The housing accepts both 6 AWG and 8 AWG cables thanks to precision-machined terminal ports, so it suits most jumper and battery lead sizes used in automotive and off-grid setups. Installation is tool-free in the sense that you only need to strip, crimp or solder the conductor to the terminal before seating it in the housing; no specialty connector tools required.
The connector shell is molded from flame-retardant polycarbonate rated to -20°C to 105°C, providing impact and corrosion resistance for outdoor and marine conditions. It has been endurance-tested for over 10,000 insertions and its anti-loose stainless steel system resists rust, keeping connections dependable over many cycles.
Safety comes from low-resistance contacts and a flame-retardant shell that reduce heat buildup and fire risk under normal operating conditions. The connector’s genderless form factor simplifies inventory and assembly, and the spring-locking contact prevents accidental disconnection during transport or operation.
Who is this for: Professional installers, off-road enthusiasts, fleet managers, RV owners, and DIYers who need a compact, high-current DC quick-connect for winches, trailers, battery banks or emergency kits. Choose this ANKG connector when you want a robust, repeatable connection that supports 6–8 AWG wiring, resists harsh environments, and keeps power delivery stable under load.
Q: Can this connector handle continuous 50A loads?
A: Yes — designed and rated for 50A continuous DC use with silver-plated copper terminals to reduce heating under load.
Q: Do I need special tools to install the terminals?
A: No — you can crimp or solder the wire, then insert the terminal into the housing; no proprietary tools required.
