APEKUU Leather Key Shell for Ford Key Fob — Cowhide Cover, 3/4/5-Button Fit with Keychain

APEKUU Key Shells are premium cowhide leather covers that protect and personalize Ford key fobs while keeping all buttons and signals fully functional.

Give your Ford remote a refined, durable upgrade with this APEKUU leather key fob cover. Designed for many Ford models (Bronco, Mustang, Fusion, Raptor, F-Series, Edge, Explorer, Expedition and others), the cover slips over your existing key head to shield it from scratches, drops, dust and everyday wear. This listing is for the protective shell and keychain only—not the electronic key fob device. Compare your key shape and button layout with the photos before ordering to ensure compatibility.

How will this leather key shell protect my Ford key fob?

The APEKUU cover wraps your key in a full 360° cowhide jacket that absorbs knocks and blocks surface scuffs. The thicker leather and snug stitching add a layer of impact resistance without obstructing the remote’s buttons or signal transmission.

• Full-cover design cushions falls and prevents edge dents.
• Durable cowhide resists abrasion and daily rubbing.
• Precise cutouts keep buttons accessible and functional.
• Leather ages naturally and can be refreshed if scratched.

Will the cover fit my specific Ford key (3-, 4-, or 5-button)?

APEKUU makes shells that match common Ford remote layouts: 3, 4, and 5-button configurations. Before purchasing, check the photos and compare the button count and placement on your key to the product images to confirm the correct fit.

• Available shapes for 3-, 4-, and 5-button Ford remotes.
• Measure or photograph your key and match with listing images.
• If unsure, contact the seller with a picture for fit verification.

How does the material perform and age over time?

The cover is crafted from high-quality cowhide (crazy horse style) that feels substantial and develops a distinctive patina with use. Small surface marks can often be smoothed by rubbing with slightly moist skin, and the leather retains strength and character through regular handling.

• Food-grade cowhide provides a soft, tactile finish.
• Natural patina gives a lived-in, premium appearance.
• Minor scratches can be buffed or smoothed by hand.
• Leather is breathable and safe for everyday handling.

How easy is installation and everyday use?

The shell slips on and off without tools, and the included leather keychain helps prevent loss while making the key easier to carry. The design leaves button operation intuitive and does not interfere with remote signals or keyless entry systems.

• Tool-free installation — just slide over the key head.
• Keychain loop keeps keys together and easy to locate.
• Precise cutouts preserve button feel and range of signal.
• Lightweight so it won’t overload your keyring or fob sensor.

Who is this for: APEKUU’s leather key shell is aimed at Ford owners who want to protect their investment and add a premium look to daily essentials. It suits drivers who prefer tactile, long-lasting materials over plastic covers, those who frequently carry keys in pockets or bags, and anyone wanting an easy-to-install, stylish way to differentiate and secure their vehicle remote.
