AquaClean PROTECT Ceramic Coating Spray 16oz — SiO2 Hydrophobic, UV Protection, Easy Spray & Wipe

AquaClean PROTECT is a spray-on SiO2 ceramic coating that gives cars, trucks, boats, RVs and motorcycles up to 12 months of hydrophobic, UV-resistant protection with a simple spray-and-wipe application.

If you want long-lasting protection without a complicated detailing process, AquaClean PROTECT delivers professional-grade quartz ceramic chemistry in an easy 16oz spray bottle. Designed for paint, gelcoat, glass, trim, metal and chrome, this SiO2 formula bonds to surfaces to repel water and dirt, reduce UV fading and keep finishes looking newer between washes. It replaces routine monthly waxing and reduces maintenance time, making it practical for home enthusiasts and pro detailers alike.

How does AquaClean PROTECT protect my vehicle’s finish?

PROTECT forms a bonded SiO2 layer that acts as a sacrificial, hydrophobic barrier between the environment and your surface. That bond helps resist UV-induced oxidation, water spotting and light contaminants so the underlying paint or gelcoat retains its gloss longer. While not indestructible, it substantially slows common wear factors when compared to traditional waxes.

• Creates a bonded quartz-based (SiO2) surface layer for long-term resistance
• Shields against UV rays, oxidation and moderate environmental fallout
• Reduces water spotting and bead-roll for easier drying and cleaning
• Lasts up to 12 months with normal use instead of monthly wax

Is application difficult — do I need special tools or training?

No special training or multi-step polishing is required. AquaClean PROTECT is formulated for spray-and-wipe use: apply, level briefly, and remove for a glossy finish. That accessibility means you can coat large vehicles or several machines quickly without professional labor.

• Spray directly onto a clean, cool surface; spread and buff with a microfiber towel
• Works on paint, gelcoat, glass, metal, chrome and plastic trim
• Minimal prep compared with multi-stage ceramic kits — ideal for DIY
• One 16oz bottle typically covers multiple vehicles or seasons

What performance improvements should I expect after using it?

After application you’ll notice enhanced water beading, easier washing and a deeper, shinier appearance. Dirt, bird droppings and road grime are less likely to cling, which reduces scrubbing and wash frequency. The product is engineered to extend surface life by reducing the factors that cause dulling and staining.

• Significant hydrophobic effect — water beads and rolls off quickly
• Cleaner surfaces between washes; less elbow grease required
• Improved gloss and color depth on painted or gelcoated surfaces
• Compatible with glass and chrome to unify appearance across parts

How long does protection last and is it environmentally safe?

Under normal conditions, a single application provides protection for up to 12 months, replacing routine waxing cycles. AquaClean formulates PROTECT in the USA with non-toxic SiO2 ingredients and an eco-conscious approach. Always follow label instructions and reapply as needed based on exposure and wear.

• Up to 12 months of SiO2 protection with typical use patterns
• Reduces frequency of waxing and intensive detailing sessions
• Made in the USA with eco-aware, non-toxic formulation
• Comes with a satisfaction guarantee for homeowner peace of mind

Who is this for: AquaClean PROTECT is for vehicle owners, boaters and RV enthusiasts who want professional ceramic protection without a professional price or process. It’s well-suited to DIY detailers, small fleets, and anyone who wants to spend less time maintaining shine and more time on the road, water or trail. If you need an all-surface, easy-to-use coating that cuts wash time and extends aesthetic life, PROTECT fits those needs.
