ARANA Tailgate Assist Soft Open for Dodge RAM 1500/2500/3500 (2009–2026) — bolt-in dampener, no-drill install

ARANA Tailgate Assist Soft Open is a bolt-in dampener kit that slows and smooths the heavy drop of Dodge RAM tailgates for model years 2009–2026.

If your RAM’s tailgate drops fast and slams, this ARANA dampener provides a controlled, linear soft-open so the tailgate lowers gently every time. Engineered with precise molding to match Dodge RAM tailgate contours, the kit installs using the truck’s existing bolts—no drilling or paint damage—and includes the hardware and simple tools to fit in about ten minutes.

How does the ARANA Tailgate Assist slow a heavy RAM tailgate?

The kit uses a mechanical dampener designed to control the tailgate’s descent speed, turning a sudden drop into a smooth, steady motion. It attaches at OEM mounting points and works with the tailgate’s existing hardware for reliable, repeatable performance.

• Linear dampening action to prevent sudden slams
• Reduces strain on cables and latch components
• Operates consistently across normal temperature ranges
• Works with stock tailgate weight and accessories
