Aspaton Fog Light Assembly for Toyota Prius 4-Door 2012–2015 — Direct-Fit DRL Replacement

Aspaton Fog Lights Assembly is a direct-fit replacement for Toyota Prius 4-door (2012–2015) that restores daytime-running fog illumination with plug-and-play installation.

These replacement fog lamps are built to match the original mounting and electrical connections of the 2012–2015 Prius 4-door, offering brighter output and improved thermal management without cutting or splicing wires. Designed to replace part numbers 8151147060 and 8152147060, the assembly includes housings with integrated heat sinks and bright DRL-style lighting to help other road users spot your vehicle more easily in low-visibility conditions.

How will these fog lights fit my 2012–2015 Prius without modification?

The Aspaton assembly is manufactured to the same physical dimensions and connector layout as the original equipment for a direct swap. No adapters or custom wiring are required, making the changeover straightforward for a DIY install or a quick shop service.

• Direct-fit design matching OE mounting points and bolt holes
• Standard electrical plug compatible with factory harness
• No cutting, splicing, or extra relays needed
• Includes left and right lamp options where applicable

What improves with Aspaton fog lights compared to worn factory units?

Worn or cloudy fog assemblies can diminish light output and visibility. Aspaton replaces aged lenses and bulbs with brighter, more consistent illumination and a housing engineered to dissipate heat, which preserves performance over time.

• Higher perceived brightness for better roadside visibility
• Professional housing with built-in heat sink to reduce thermal strain
• Clear lens and optimized reflector for focused beam pattern
• Replaces listed OEM part numbers for like-for-like performance

How difficult is the installation and what tools are needed?

Installation is intentionally simple: the assembly is plug-and-play and aligns with the Prius factory hardware. Most owners can complete the swap with basic hand tools in under an hour, though lifting the car or removing the bumper may be necessary depending on service access.

• Basic tools: screwdriver, socket set, and possibly a trim tool
• Typical installation time: 30–60 minutes for experienced DIYers
• No electrical modifications or additional parts required
• Follow vehicle manual steps for bumper removal if needed

Will these fog lights work with my Prius’ daytime running lights and signaling?

The Aspaton assembly is designed to function with the vehicle's existing lighting circuits and DRL configurations on compatible Prius models. They maintain standard signaling behavior and integrate with your car’s daytime running system when the original wiring is retained.

• Compatible with Prius DRL and fog lamp circuits for 2012–2015 models
• Maintains factory turn-signal and daytime-running functions
• Replaces OEM part numbers 8151147060 and 8152147060
• Check vehicle wiring and fuses if unusual behavior appears after fitment

Who is this for: This replacement fog light assembly is ideal for Prius 4-door owners (model years 2012–2015) who need a reliable, direct-fit upgrade or replacement of broken, fogged, or dim factory lamps. It suits DIY mechanics and professional installers seeking a durable housing with improved thermal management and brighter output that integrates with the standard DRL and signal systems. Before ordering, confirm your vehicle’s model year and the OEM part number to ensure compatibility with your Prius.
