• Stabilizes idle speeds and reduces hunting
• Improves throttle response and load handling

Can I install this carburetor myself and what tools are needed?

Yes — the design favors straightforward replacement with basic hand tools; many customers complete the swap without professional help. Typical installation includes removing the air cleaner, detaching linkages and fuel lines, swapping the carburetors, and reconnecting components while checking for leaks and correct throttle movement.

• Required tools: screwdrivers, socket set, pliers, fuel line clamp
• Steps: remove air cleaner, disconnect fuel/throttle, install new carburetor, check connections
• Tip: inspect gaskets and seals and replace if brittle
