ATRACYPART Rear Window Hinge Set for 2008-2012 Ford Escape - Left & Right Pair, Direct-Fit OEM Replacement

ATRACYPART rear window hinge set replaces both left and right liftgate glass hinges to restore smooth opening and secure closing of your 2008–2012 Ford Escape, Mercury Mariner (2008–2011), or Mazda Tribute (2008–2011).

If the rear hatch glass on your vehicle no longer opens or closes reliably, damaged or worn hinges are a common culprit. This direct-fit hinge pair is engineered to match the original factory geometry and mounting points, so installation is straightforward and requires minimal adjustment. Each set is finished for improved impact resistance and includes the screws and gaskets needed to reinstall the liftgate glass.

How will these hinges affect my hatch glass operation?

Replacing worn or broken hinges restores correct pivoting and prevents the glass from sagging or binding when opening and closing the liftgate. The set is designed to mimic OEM movement, so the hinge pivots smoothly and aligns the glass to the factory position.

• Direct replacement for factory hinge geometry
• Reduced wobble and improved opening/closing action
• Includes mounting hardware and gaskets for a full swap

Will these hinges fit my vehicle and replace the original part numbers?

Yes — this hinge set fits 2008–2012 Ford Escape models and is also compatible with 2008–2011 Mercury Mariner and 2008–2011 Mazda Tribute. It corresponds to the common OEM references so you can match them to the parts you’re replacing.

• Fits: Ford Escape (2008–2012), Mercury Mariner (2008–2011), Mazda Tribute (2008–2011)
• Replaces OEM numbers: 8L8Z-78420A68-C / 8L8Z-78420A68-D (and variants)
• Sold as a left and right hinge set with all necessary screws and gaskets

How durable and reliable are ATRACYPART hinges?

These hinges are manufactured to high production standards and finished with a reinforced metallic surface to withstand daily use and impact better than untreated parts. Each set undergoes quality checks and is backed by a manufacturer warranty for added confidence.

• Redesigned metallic surface for increased impact resistance
• Quality-tested during production to help ensure long life
• Covered by a 24-month warranty for defects or failures

How difficult is installation — do I need special tools or a shop?

Installation is straightforward for anyone comfortable with basic hand tools and working around the liftgate glass. Because the hinges are a direct OEM-style replacement, most installs take only a short time and do not require modifications.

• Direct-fit design uses factory mounting points
• Includes screws and gaskets to complete the job
• Typical install time: minutes to an hour depending on experience
