Auto Care Heavyweight Oil-Only Absorbent Pads 15" x 20" White — 50-Pack, Hydrophobic 8-Layer Durability

Auto Care Heavyweight Oil Absorbing Pads are 15" x 20" oil-only mat pads that quickly soak up oils and fuels while repelling water, supplied as a 50-count pack for shop and industrial cleanup.

These heavyweight absorbent pads are built for repeated use in busy garages, maintenance bays, and industrial settings where oil-only cleanup is needed. Their layered polypropylene construction and dimpled face speed wicking and lock in oil-based liquids without soaking up water, so you remove spills without creating additional wet mess. The white color improves visibility of leaks and saturation level, helping crew members spot problems early.

How do these pads keep oil but repel water?

The pads use eight thermally bonded layers of 100% polypropylene with a fine-fiber absorbent core that selectively attracts and retains hydrocarbons. Textile-like construction and a hydrophobic barrier prevent water pickup while letting oil migrate into the mat.

• Oil-only chemistry: engineered to absorb fuels, lubricants, and oil-based fluids.
• Hydrophobic fibers: reject water so rain or washdown won’t saturate the pad.
• Layered build: multiple bonded plies trap liquid and prevent leakage.

What makes these pads more durable than typical mats?

Durability comes from the eight-layer thermal bond that resists ripping, tearing, and fraying even when fully saturated. The thick construction holds its shape under foot traffic and equipment, extending usable life compared with single-ply options.

• Eight thermally bonded layers for tear resistance.
• Fine-fiber construction reduces fiber loss and residue.
• Sturdy under pressure: suitable for shop floors and tool stations.

How fast and thorough is the absorbency?

An exclusive dimple pattern and fine-fiber core accelerate wicking so oil spreads through the pad quickly and is locked inside. This reduces the need to layer multiple pads and minimizes dripping during transfer or disposal.

• Dimpled surface speeds liquid distribution across the mat.
• High hold capacity prevents reappearance of pooled oil.
• Visible saturation on white fabric shows when replacement is needed.

How do I use and store these pads safely in a workplace?

Place pads directly under leaks, on top of small spills, or beneath equipment for preventative protection. Store in a dry, ventilated area away from ignition sources; follow local rules for disposal after oil saturation.

• Use single pads for drips or stack for larger spills and soak-through.
• Keep packaged in a cool, dry area until needed.
• Dispose of oil-saturated pads according to hazardous-waste regulations.

Who is this for: These Auto Care heavyweight oil-only pads suit automotive shops, service fleets, mechanics, industrial maintenance teams, and facility managers who need reliable, visible oil cleanup without absorbing water. They’re ideal for identifying leaks, controlling drips under parked equipment, and keeping work areas safer and cleaner without frequent pad replacement.
