Autofiber Barrel Blade Lite Microfibre Wheel Brush - Blue Plush, 17" Length & 12" Cleaning Surface

The Autofiber Barrel Blade Lite is a 17" microfiber wheel brush with a 12" plush cleaning surface that reaches between spokes and into wheel barrels to remove dirt without scratching finishes.

Designed for detailers and car enthusiasts who demand a thorough yet gentle wheel clean, the Barrel Blade Lite pairs a flat, firm blade with a soft blue microfiber cover to attack brake dust, grime, and road film in tight spaces. Its snap-on, machine-washable cover makes upkeep simple, while the brush’s overall length keeps the cleaning surface above bucket water, reducing dunking and contamination. Built for repeat use, this tool provides leverage plus reach so you can clean complex wheel geometries safely and efficiently.

How does the Barrel Blade Lite access tight wheel areas?

The brush’s flat, narrow blade and 12" plush microfiber sleeve are engineered to slide between spokes, calipers, and into deep barrels. The low profile of the blade reduces resistance so you can work into awkward angles without rubbing harshly on finishes.

• Flat blade profile for narrow gaps and close-to-hub cleaning
• 12" microfiber cleaning surface wraps the blade for extended reach
• Firm-but-flexible core lets you press into recesses without bending out of shape

What makes the cover easy to maintain and replace?

The Barrel Blade Lite uses a snap-on microfiber cover that detaches quickly for rinsing or machine washing. When the cover is worn or you need a different cleaning aggressiveness, replacement covers are available and simple to swap, extending the life of the handle and core.

• Removable cover snaps off for fast cleaning
• Machine-washable microfiber keeps fibers effective and hygienic
• Interchangeable covers available in different materials and pile heights

How does the design balance stiffness and flexibility for effective scrubbing?

The brush core is built to be firm enough to provide leverage on stuck contaminants yet flexible enough to contour to wheel shapes. This balance lets you apply pressure where needed without risking excessive force against delicate finishes.

• Sturdy backbone supports consistent scrubbing motion
• Controlled flex prevents accidental gouging or marring
• Optimized length keeps the cleaning head out of dirty bucket water

What wheel types and cleaning tasks is the Barrel Blade Lite best suited for?

It’s ideal for multi-spoke wheels, deep barrels, staggered wheel setups, and areas around calipers where a regular mitt or pad can’t reach. Use it for removing brake dust, light tar, and road grime prior to rinsing or deeper chemical treatments.

• Multi-spoke and deep-dish wheel barrels
• Between spokes, around lug areas, and near brake calipers
• Routine maintenance washes and spot-cleaning detail jobs

Who is this for: Autofiber’s Barrel Blade Lite is aimed at professional detailers, weekend car enthusiasts, and anyone who wants targeted cleaning power for tricky wheel geometry. If you value a tool that combines safe microfiber contact with a rigid, reach-oriented core—and prefer washable, replaceable covers for long-term use—this brush is a practical addition to your detailing kit.
