BasaltAuto Windscreen Sun Shade for 2020-2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE GLS — Silver Reflective, Foldable with Storage Bag

Parked cars can become unbearably hot; this sun shade is engineered to sit flush against the windshield of Mercedes GLE and GLS models, blocking UV rays and lowering cabin temperatures without interfering with mirror housings or ADAS sensors. It’s crafted from dual-layer, thickened reflective foil with reinforced edges and folds compactly into the included storage bag for neat stashing.

How does this sunshade fit Mercedes GLE and GLS windshields?

The visor is precision-cut to match the windshield contours of 2020–2025 GLE and GLS vehicles, including AMG trims. A top notch and carefully measured profile ensure a secure, near-seamless fit that covers the glass area while clearing the rearview mirror and sensor assemblies.

• Custom-cut for GLE/GLS windshield curvature and size
• Top opening accommodates mirror and camera housings
• Works across trims: GLE 350 through GLS 580 and AMG variants
• Flush installation reduces light leakage along edges

What materials and construction keep the cabin cooler?

This shade uses a dual-layer thickened tin-foil design: a reflective outer surface that bounces sunlight and an insulating core that reduces heat transfer. Reinforced borders and an accordion-style fold give it structure so it remains effective over repeated use.

• High-grade reflective foil deflects sunlight and UV
• Insulating inner layer slows heat permeation to the dash and seats
• Reinforced edges resist warping and tears
• Accordion fold for durable, repeatable collapsing

Will it interfere with safety features or mirror cameras?

The sun shade’s intelligent notch design clears the complex mirror and sensor housings used on modern Mercedes-Benz models so the shield sits without pressing on or blocking sensor arrays. That means you get maximum coverage while avoiding contact with delicate electronics.

• Precisely cut top opening for mirror/sensor clearance
• No pressure on ADAS camera covers or mounts
• Maintains full coverage without distorting sensor alignment

How easy is it to store and maintain the sun shade?

The shade folds down quickly into a compact shape and secures with an included strap, so it fits into door pockets, glove compartments, or the supplied storage bag. Its reinforced construction cleans with a soft wipe and keeps shape over seasonal use.

• Accordion-style fold with storage strap and bag included
• Compact size fits door bins or seat pockets
• Wipe-clean surface preserves reflectivity and appearance
• Durable edges prevent fraying for long-term reliability

Who is this for? If you own a 2020–2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE or GLS (including AMG models) and want a tailored, durable sunshade that protects leather, trim, and electronics while minimizing cabin heat, this BasaltAuto visor is designed for you. It’s a practical accessory for drivers who park outdoors frequently and prefer a clean, factory-like fit without covering sensors or mirrors.
