BBBOX Jeep Cherokee XJ Centre Console Support Bracket 1997-2001 — 10-gauge Steel, Textured Black

Solid, CNC-cut steel reinforcement that restores and stabilizes the center console in Jeep Cherokee XJ models from 1997–2001.

This BBBOX center console support bracket replaces weakened or missing factory supports to stop console sag, eliminate rattles, and provide a durable mounting platform for accessories. Manufactured from 10-gauge steel, precision cut and formed by CNC machines, then finished in a textured black powder coat, the bracket ships with all required fasteners for a straightforward installation. It’s engineered to match the stock footprint so the original console and trim panels fit back without modification.

How does this bracket stop console movement and noise?

The bracket creates a rigid connection between the console shell and the vehicle structure, preventing the flex and play that cause vibration and squeaks. Its stamped and formed profile follows the OEM attachment points, distributing load across a broader area to avoid stress concentrations that lead to cracks or failure.

• CNC-cut 10-gauge steel for stiffness and long life
• Powder-coated finish reduces corrosion and wear
• Hardware included for a tight, rattle-free fit

What is involved in the installation process?

Installation is designed for home mechanics and professional shops alike: remove the console, position the bracket to the factory points, and bolt it into place using the supplied hardware. No welding or trimming is necessary when used with compatible 1997–2001 Cherokee XJ consoles, and most installs require common hand tools.

• Includes all mounting bolts and fasteners
• Works with stock console locations—no cutting required
• Typical install time: under 1 hour for experienced installers

Will this bracket fit my Jeep Cherokee XJ model year?

This BBBOX support bracket is manufactured to fit Jeep Cherokee XJ vehicles from 1997 through 2001. It follows the original console attachment geometry for those model years; verify your chassis and interior layout before purchase if your vehicle has non‑stock modifications.

• Fitment explicitly for 1997–2001 Cherokee XJ
• Designed for factory-style consoles and trim pieces
• Contact support if your interior has aftermarket mounts or alterations

What materials and finish protect the bracket over time?

Fabricated from heavy 10-gauge steel, the bracket resists bending under repeated loads. After CNC cutting and forming, BBBOX applies a durable black powder coat that shields the metal from corrosion, road salt, and interior spills—extending service life and keeping the bracket looking factory-clean.

• 10-gauge steel resists deformation and fatigue
• Powder coat prevents rust and abrasion
• Robust manufacturing tolerances for consistent fitment

It’s also a practical choice for shops performing interior restorations or customers fitting accessory equipment that requires a stable mounting point. If you want a bolt‑on, long-lasting solution made from quality steel with included hardware, this bracket delivers a straightforward, durable fix.
