BDBO Mirror Cover Caps for BMW 3 Series E90/E92 LCI — Carbon-fibre Pattern, Snap-On Replacement

BDBO Mirror Cover Caps are snap-on replacement caps with a carbon-fiber pattern designed to fit BMW 3 Series E90/E91 LCI (2008–2011) and E92/E93 LCI (2010–2013), offering a durable, tool-free visual upgrade.

If you want to refresh your BMW’s exterior with a sporty, factory-style look without painting or complicated bodywork, these BDBO mirror caps provide a straightforward option. They are molded to suit the LCI mirror housings listed and install without modification, giving a textured carbon-fiber appearance that complements performance trims and aftermarket accents.

Will these mirror caps fit my BMW model and year?

These caps are shaped specifically for the LCI (facelift) mirror housings on 3 Series models listed by the manufacturer. They fit E90 and E91 LCI (2008–2011) and E92 and E93 LCI (2010–2013) mirror shells; they do not fit genuine M3 mirror assemblies.

• Compatible: 3 Series E90/E91 LCI 2008–2011, E92/E93 LCI 2010–2013.
• Not compatible: true M3 mirror housings and non-LCI mirror variants.
• Recommendation: visually compare your current mirror shape to product photos before ordering.

How easy is installation—do I need tools or modifications?

Installation is designed to be user-friendly and requires no cutting or painting. The caps are manufactured to snap or press onto the OEM mirror shell with a secure fit; they come pre-shaped for a firm hold and are intended to stay in place during normal driving conditions.

• No drilling, trimming, or adhesive required for proper LCI shells.
• Typical install time: 10–20 minutes per side for a single person.
• Ensure existing mirror base is clean and free of loose clips before fitting.

What are these caps made of and how do they protect my mirrors?

BDBO mirror covers are built from a durable material with a carbon-fiber patterned finish that resists regular wear. While primarily cosmetic, the covers add a layer of abrasion resistance to the factory mirror shell and help shield against minor scuffs and chips.

• Durable construction for long-lasting use and visual retention.
• Carbon-fiber pattern emphasizes a sportier, tailored appearance.
• Protects against everyday contact, such as door dings and light debris.

What should I expect in terms of appearance and maintenance?

The textured carbon-fiber pattern provides a high-contrast, aggressive look that pairs well with black trim and other exterior upgrades. Maintenance is straightforward: occasional washing and gentle wipe-downs keep the pattern and fit looking sharp without special products.

• Visual upgrade suitable for street and show use.
• Clean with mild soap and a soft cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners.
• Inspect clips periodically to confirm a secure attachment.

Who is this for: These BDBO mirror cover caps are ideal for BMW 3 Series owners with LCI mirror housings who want a quick, non-permanent styling update that mimics carbon-fiber aesthetics. They suit DIY enthusiasts, buyers refreshing older exterior trim, and anyone seeking a stronger, sportier look without bodyshop expense. If you own a true M3 or a non-LCI mirror variant, verify compatibility before purchase. Customer support is available for fitment questions or returns if the product doesn’t meet your expectations.
