Beleeb RV Skylight Replacement Outer Dome 18x26 (Smoke) — Polycarbonate, UV-Filtering for 14x22 Openings

The Beleeb RV Skylight Replacement 18" x 26" (smoke) is a universal outer dome designed to fit standard 14" x 22" RV skylight openings, offering durable polycarbonate protection and UV-filtering tint for camper roofs.

Upgrade or replace a worn, cracked, or fogged skylight with this ready-to-install outer dome that matches the common 14" x 22" inner opening found in most RVs, trailers, fifth wheels and motorhomes. The dome's flange measures 18" x 26" so it overlaps existing openings for a secure mount, while the smoke tint reduces glare and helps moderate interior heat without blocking all daylight. Constructed from impact-resistant polycarbonate, it’s built to resist road vibration, hail, and sun exposure for long-term use.

Will this skylight fit my RV’s existing 14" x 22" opening?

This Beleeb outer dome is engineered specifically to cover standard 14" x 22" inner skylight cutouts. The outer flange measures 18" x 26" to sit over the roof hole and fasten to the vehicle’s deck, but the dome’s lower profile means it may not suit installations that require a taller inner dome.

• Outer flange: 18" x 26" for overlap and secure mounting
• Dome dimension: 14" x 22" x 3.3" to match inner openings
• Check vertical clearance if you have an inner dome assembly
• Compatible with most RV, camper, trailer, fifth wheel and motorhome roofs

How durable and weather-resistant is the polycarbonate dome?

The skylight is made from high-quality polycarbonate, chosen for toughness and impact resistance. It stands up to road debris, frequent vibration, UV exposure and typical outdoor weather encountered by vehicles on the road.

• Impact-resistant polycarbonate construction for road durability
• Designed to withstand sun, rain and light hail conditions
• Smoke tint reduces UV and heat entry compared with clear domes
• Long-lasting finish resists yellowing and brittleness

How easy is installation and what’s included in the package?

Installation is straightforward for anyone comfortable with roof-level DIY or basic RV maintenance. The dome comes pre-drilled for mounting and includes screws plus step-by-step instructions so you can replace the outer dome quickly and securely.

• Pre-drilled flange holes for faster alignment and fastening
• Package contents: 1 x skylight dome and 20 x screws
• Instructions included; suitable for DIY installers or pros
• Wear gloves when unpacking to avoid sharp packaging edges

What does the smoke color do for interior comfort and light?

The smoked tint softens direct sunlight to reduce glare and helps lower interior heat buildup compared with clear domes. It still allows ample natural light so the cabin stays bright during daytime, while offering a more comfortable environment in summer months.

• Smoke tint filters intense sunlight and reduces glare
• Maintains natural daylighting without harsh brightness
• Also available in clear and white if you prefer more light or diffused illumination
• Non-opaque tint preserves outside visibility from inside
