Camco 3.5" Clear Sewer Hose Adapter for RVs — Universal 3.5in Extension, Transparent Flow Window

This clear 3.5-inch Camco sewer hose adapter extends an RV outlet for easier hookups and lets you watch the tank rinse flow for confident, mess-free draining.

If you manage RV maintenance or camp frequently, small fittings make a big difference. The Camco 39562 Clear 3.5" Sewer Hose Adapter screws onto standard RV outlet connections to extend the discharge point, simplify attaching a sewer hose, and provide a transparent view to confirm when the black or gray tank is fully flushed. It's built for straightforward use, storage, and unobstructed flow.

How does this adapter simplify connecting a sewer hose?

The adapter lengthens the RV outlet so you don't need to reach under the bumper or awkwardly angle the hose to get a secure connection. Because it fits universally to common RV outlet threads, it reduces fumbling and speeds setup and teardown.

• 3.5" extension created for easier reach and alignment
• Universal-fit threading compatible with standard RV connections
• Smooth interior profile minimizes flow restriction
• Quick attach/detach design for faster campsite routines

Will I be able to see when my tank is fully rinsed?

Yes — the clear construction provides a visual window so you can watch wastewater and rinse water pass through. That visibility helps you confirm the tank is flushed and reduces the risk of repeating the process or leaving residual waste behind.

• Transparent material lets you monitor flow and clarity
• Ideal for confirming gray and black tank rinses
• Helps avoid unnecessary extra flushing cycles
• Visual check reduces mess and guesswork

Does the adapter affect flow or create blockages?

The Camco adapter is designed to be non-restrictive — the interior is smooth and sized to allow free flow of water and solids typical of RV waste discharge. Proper use with a compatible sewer hose maintains efficient drainage without increased clog risk.

• Non-restrictive interior preserves flow rate
• Sized to match common RV hose diameters and fittings
• Durable construction resists cracking under normal use
• Clear material eases inspection for debris or buildup

How do I store and care for the adapter between trips?

The adapter is compact and lightweight for simple storage in storage bays or a utility compartment. Rinse with fresh water after use, dry, then store away from direct sunlight to prolong clarity and retain a tight-fit thread profile.

• Flush with freshwater after each use
• Air-dry before storing to prevent odors
• Keep in a protected compartment to avoid UV discoloration
• Inspect threads periodically for wear or debris

Who is this for: The Camco 39562 Clear 3.5" Sewer Hose Adapter is made for RV owners, professional detailers, and campground maintenance crews who want an easier, cleaner sewer hookup. It's especially helpful for people who prefer a visible rinse check, those with limited mobility who need an extended outlet for simpler reach, and anyone who values faster setup and teardown at the dump station. The adapter is a compact, low-effort upgrade to any RV wastewater system that uses standard outlet fittings.
