Camco Clear RV Sewer Hose Extender 5-inch — Transparent Adapter with Bayonet & Lug Fittings for Easy Drainage

When managing black water tanks at a campground or service bay, reach and visibility make a difference. This compact Camco adapter adds length and transparency to the sewer connection so you can simplify hookups, avoid awkward angles, and visually confirm that waste and rinse water have passed through. Built from durable polymer and manufactured in the USA, it’s designed for frequent use while staying small enough to store with your campsite essentials.

How does the extender make dumping my RV tanks easier?

The extender provides an extra five inches of reach, reducing strain when the RV outlet sits recessed or tight against a compartment wall. That extra length improves leverage and positioning so you can align the hose without bending or wrestling the fittings.

• Gives 5" additional length for easier hose alignment and connection
• Bayonet fittings attach to the RV outlet quickly and securely
• Lug fittings create a reliable join with standard black water hoses
• Compact footprint fits most storage compartments and hose bags

Why choose a clear adapter — what does visibility add?

The transparent body lets you watch the flow while flushing or draining, so you no longer rely on timing or guesswork. Being able to see solids and rinse water pass through helps you know when the system is clear and when further rinsing may be needed.

• See when solids and rinse water have moved through the line
• Quickly verify a full rinse without opening multiple valves
• Reduce over-flushing and save water by stopping when clear
• Helps troubleshoot clogs by visually locating slow or stopped flow

Is this extender durable and compatible with my RV sewer hookups?

Yes — Camco builds the extender from rugged polymer to tolerate regular outdoor use and the stresses of connecting and disconnecting hoses. It uses standard bayonet and lug fittings that match common RV sewer outlets and black water hoses, making it broadly compatible across RV models.

• Polymer construction resists cracking and weather exposure
• Bayonet fittings fit RV waste outlets securely
• Lug-style hose connection works with typical black water hoses
• Compact dimensions: 4 7/8" L x 3 13/16" W x 3 13/16" H for easy storage

How easy is it to use and maintain on the road?

Installation is straightforward — attach the bayonet end to the RV outlet, slide the hose onto the lug end, and secure. After use, rinse the adapter and store it in your RV’s utility compartment or hose bag; its small size keeps it accessible without taking up much room.

• Simple push-and-twist bayonet connection to RV outlet
• Slide-on lug connection for the sewer hose with a tight fit
• Rinseable interior and smooth surfaces for easy cleaning
• Small footprint slips into storage bins or hose carriers

It’s a practical accessory for weekend campers, long-term travelers, and fleet operators who need durable, easy-to-use sewer connections.
