Camco RV Awning De‑Flapper Max Clamps, 2-Pack — 8-inch Soft Grippers, UV-Resistant

The Camco Awning De‑Flapper Max is a durable two-pack clamp that prevents noisy wind flapping and protects RV awning fabric from rips and tears.

Lightweight yet sturdy, this 2-pack of de‑flapper clamps secures directly to your awning edge to reduce movement and abrasion in windy conditions. Each unit combines an 8‑inch wide, soft gripper surface with a reliable hook-and-loop strap so you can attach it quickly and remove it when you stow your awning. Built from UV-stabilized nylon and chemical-resistant components, the de‑flapper is made to resist sun damage and corrosion so it performs season after season.

How does the De‑Flapper Max stop annoying wind noise?

By clamping onto the awning hem, the De‑Flapper Max limits how much the fabric can billow and slap against awning hardware. The wide, soft grippers damp vibration and reduce the flapping motion that creates noise and stress on the material.

• 8-inch wide soft, non-marring grippers that cushion fabric contact
• Hook-and-loop straps secure the clamp for stable hold in breezy conditions
• Works with screen rooms attached—no need to remove accessories
• Designed to fit most standard RV awnings (working length 4–6 inches)

Will it harm my awning fabric or leave marks?

No — the clamp uses non-marring gripper material that protects the fabric surface while holding it firmly. The design prevents sharp edges or hard metal contact from rubbing directly on the awning cloth.

• Soft grippers that won’t abrade fabric or leave impressions
• No metal-to-fabric contact—reduces wear at attachment points
• Suitable for vinyl and acrylic awning materials
• Quick-release hook-and-loop straps make repositioning easy

How long and durable is each clamp?

Each De‑Flapper Max measures approximately 8" x 3" x 2.5" and is built from UV-stabilized nylon for sun resistance. The components are chemical-resistant and rust proof, so they withstand outdoor exposure and cleaning solutions without corroding.

• Compact dimensions: 8 inches wide, 3 inches tall, 2.5 inches deep
• UV-stabilized nylon housing for prolonged sun exposure resistance
• Straps and fasteners are chemical-resistant and rust proof
• Two clamps included per pack for front-and-back or dual-point securing

How easy is it to install and adjust?

Installation is tool-free and fast: position the clamp on the awning hem and tighten the hook-and-loop strap to the desired tension. The working grip range spans about 4 to 6 inches, accommodating most awning hems and allowing fine adjustment to balance grip and fabric protection.

• Tool-free setup using hook-and-loop fasteners
• Adjustable hold to suit different awning thicknesses (4–6 inches)
• Designed to remain in place during use and be removed for storage
• Works while a screen room is attached—no interference

Who is this for? The Camco Awning De‑Flapper Max 2-pack is made for RV owners who want a simple, effective way to reduce awning noise and prevent fabric damage without permanent modifications. It suits weekend campers, full-timers, and anyone who adds screen rooms or other accessories to their awning and needs a rust-resistant, UV-stable clamp that’s quick to install and gentle on fabric.
