Camco RV Replacement Propane Cap Kit for Single 20 lb Tanks, Black — Oval Access & UV‑Stable

Camco's Replacement Cap Kit for RV single 20 lb propane covers is a black, UV-stabilized oval cap with included mounting hardware that gives easy access to dual tanks and the changeover regulator.

This replacement cap is built for the newer style RV propane tank covers and designed to make routine tank checks, cylinder swaps, and regulator access faster and safer. Molded from UV-inhibited polypropylene, the cap resists fading and cracking from sun exposure on seasonal camping trips. The kit ships with the attachment hardware needed for a secure fit to compatible covers so you can install it without hunting for extra parts.

How does this cap simplify access to my RV propane tanks?

The cap’s long oval shape spans both 20 lb tanks and the changeover regulator so you can reach the valves and hose without removing the entire cover. That design reduces time spent during connector changes and visual inspections.

• Oval cutout lets you access both cylinders simultaneously
• Fits over the changeover regulator for straightforward adjustments
• Reduces need to lift or fully detach the cover for routine checks

Will it hold up to sun and outdoor conditions?

Yes — the cap is molded from UV-stabilized polypropylene engineered to withstand prolonged sun exposure. The material choice limits surface degradation so the cap keeps its shape and color through seasons of use.

• UV inhibitors reduce fading and brittleness
• Durable plastic resists cracking under normal outdoor conditions
• Black finish conceals dirt and weathering between cleanings

What’s included and how easy is installation?

The kit arrives with the replacement cap and the attachment hardware needed to mount it to compatible propane covers. Installation is straightforward with basic hand tools and follows the same mounting points as the original cap.

• Replacement oval cap sized for single 20 lb covers
• Attachment hardware included for a complete installation
• Simple, tool-assisted mounting—no specialty parts required

Does this cap work on all RV propane covers?

This cap is intended for the newer style single 20 lb propane tank covers that accept an oval access cap. It won’t fit older or nonstandard covers, so verify compatibility before ordering.

• Designed for new-style RV propane covers with oval access cutouts
• Not universal—check dimensions and mounting pattern first
• Camco part number 21017 corresponds to the replacement cap kit
