Camco Tastepure RV Water Filter 2-Pack — GAC + KDF Inline Hose Filter, Wide-Body High Flow

The Camco Tastepure RV Water Filter 2-pack is an inline hose filter that reduces chlorine, sediment, bad tastes and odors while preserving high water flow for drinking and onboard use.

Designed for RVers, boaters and outdoor enthusiasts, these American-made inline filters attach quickly to any standard garden or drinking water hose to provide cleaner-tasting water at campsites, marinas and tailgates. Camco combines granular activated carbon (GAC) with KDF media and a 20-micron sediment barrier in a wide-body housing to balance contaminant reduction with strong flow rates. The units are independently tested and listed to industry standards, certified lead-free, and sold as a convenient two-pack so you have a spare on hand.

What contaminants does this filter reduce and how effective is it?

The Tastepure filter targets common water supply concerns like chlorine taste and odor, visible sediment, and microbial growth in unused hose connections. Its multi-stage design pairs GAC for taste and odor control with KDF media that helps limit bacterial and mold growth in the cartridge when idle. The internal 20-micron sediment element removes larger particulates without choking off flow, making it suitable for drinking, cooking and general onboard use.

• GAC reduces chlorine taste and organic compounds that cause odors.
• KDF media helps control bacteria and inhibit biofilm buildup between uses.
• 20-micron sediment layer captures silt, sand and rust particles.
• Wide-body housing maintains higher flow than narrow inline designs.

How do I install and maintain the Camco Tastepure in my RV setup?

Installation is straightforward: screw the filter onto the campsite spigot or hose bib, then attach your drinking hose or RV water inlet. Position the filter upright and avoid freezing conditions to protect the housing and internal media. Replace cartridges according to water quality and usage; carrying the included two-pack lets you swap units quickly without downtime.

• Thread one end to the water spigot and the other to your hose or RV inlet.
• Keep filter above freezing and away from direct heat sources.
• Change filter when taste or flow declines or per manufacturer lifespan guidance.
• Use the second filter as a ready spare for continuous protected water access.

Will this filter slow my water flow or fit my hose connections?

The Tastepure is engineered for high-flow performance; its wide-body design minimizes pressure drop compared with narrow inline cartridges. It connects to standard garden/drinking hose threads commonly found on RVs and marinas, so compatibility is broad. If your setup uses nonstandard fittings or adapters, add the appropriate couplers, but most RV inlets accept this filter without modification.

• Wide-body cartridge reduces flow restriction for faster filling and faucet use.
• Designed for standard garden/drinking hose threads on RVs and docks.
• Adapters can be added where nonstandard fittings exist.
• Two-pack prevents interruption while replacing cartridges.

Who is this for: The Camco Tastepure RV Water Filter 2-pack is ideal for weekend campers, full-time RVers, boat owners and anyone who wants better tasting onsite water without sacrificing flow. It suits users who need a portable, easy-to-install solution for campsite and marina water supplies, those who prefer American-made products, and people who appreciate a spare filter included for uninterrupted use.
