Capri Tools 2-Gallon Portable Oil Drain Pan, Black — HDPE Body & Anti-Splash Pour Handle

Capri Tools CP21024 is a portable 2-gallon oil drain pan designed to capture, carry and pour automotive fluids cleanly and safely.

Built from heavy-duty, chemical-resistant high-density polyethylene, this compact drain pan simplifies small oil changes and fluid transfers. Its molded handle and anti-splash lip reduce spills during transport and pouring, while the wide opening accepts drains from most passenger vehicles. Lightweight yet robust, the CP21024 is practical for home mechanics, fleet technicians and anyone who needs a tidy way to collect up to 2 gallons (8 liters) of used fluid.

How easy is it to use the CP21024 during a routine oil change?

The CP21024 is made for straightforward, no-fuss operation. Position it under the drain point to catch oil directly, then lift by the molded handle and pour using the anti-splash lip to control flow. Its smooth surface wipes clean quickly after use.

• Large opening fits common drain locations for quick fluid capture
• Anti-splash lip reduces drips and messy transfer when pouring
• Molded handle provides secure grip for carrying and emptying
• Polyethylene construction wipes clean and resists common solvents

Will the material stand up to used oil and antifreeze?

Yes—the CP21024 is molded from high-density polyethylene formulated to resist chemicals and solvents typically encountered in automotive fluids. That resistance helps prevent cracking, staining and early wear so the pan remains serviceable through multiple uses.

• Chemical-resistant polyethylene for longevity
• Non-porous surface inhibits staining and simplifies cleaning
• Durable body resists impacts and routine shop handling

How controlled is pouring and emptying the pan?

The integrated anti-splash lip and balanced handle make pouring predictable and cleaner than open trays. The molded pour profile guides fluid into a funnel or waste container while minimizing drips and splatter.

• Anti-splash lip channels fluid during transfer to reduce spills
• Molded handle aligns pour angle for steady flow control
• Compact size makes it easy to position over disposal receptacles

What size jobs is this 2-gallon pan best suited for?

The CP21024 is ideal for small-vehicle tasks and light maintenance where a large catch basin is unnecessary. It handles up to two gallons (8 liters), making it well suited for routine car oil changes, small-transmission or differential drains, and topping off or transferring antifreeze while minimizing mess.

• 2-gallon (8 L) capacity for passenger vehicles and light equipment
• Compact footprint for tight working spaces under vehicles
• Portable for mobile service or home garage use

Who is this for? The Capri Tools CP21024 fits DIYers, mobile mechanics and small workshops that need a dependable, easy-to-clean drain pan for routine oil and fluid work. If you want a lightweight, chemical-resistant pan that controls pouring and stores neatly when not in use, this model is a practical, budget-friendly choice.
