Capri Tools portable oil drain pan 4.5 gal (16 L) – black, chemical‑resistant HDPE with anti‑splash lip

The Capri Tools CP21021 is a portable 4.5‑gallon (16 L) oil drain pan made from chemical‑resistant high‑density polyethylene with an anti‑splash lip and a molded handle for easier pouring and transport.

Designed for home mechanics and professionals who need a compact, reliable container for draining and moving fluids, this Capri Tools drain pan minimizes mess and stands up to antifreeze, oil, and many solvents. Its low‑profile opening accepts direct drains while the sturdy construction keeps the pan reusable and simple to maintain. Lightweight and stackable, it fits into small workspaces and vehicle service areas.

How does this drain pan reduce spills and splashes?

The CP21021 includes an anti‑splash lip that helps contain fluid flow when pouring or when fluids hit the rim. The wide opening collects drains cleanly, and the molded handle gives you steady control while moving the pan to a disposal point.

• Anti‑splash lip contains fluid during transfer
• Wide receiving mouth accepts direct drains
• Molded handle provides secure grip for controlled pouring

What chemicals and fluids can it handle?

Manufactured from high‑density polyethylene, the pan resists many common automotive fluids so it won’t break down from contact with oil, antifreeze, or typical solvents. That resilience makes cleaning easier and extends the usable life of the pan.

• High‑density polyethylene resists oils and solvents
• Compatible with antifreeze and used motor oil
• Nonporous surface wipes clean for reuse

How much fluid does the CP21021 hold and how portable is it?

This unit holds up to 4.5 gallons (16 liters), large enough for most passenger vehicle oil changes and common service tasks. The compact footprint and integrated handle let you carry and pour without additional tools, and the lightweight design stacks for storage between jobs.

• 4.5 gallons / 16 liters total capacity
• Low‑profile size fits under many vehicle pans
• Stackable, lightweight design for easy storage

How do you clean and store the drain pan?

Cleaning is quick: wipe or rinse the polyethylene surface to remove residues and let dry. The pan resists staining and odors better than porous materials, and its shape nests with others for compact storage in a garage or shop cabinet.

• Rinse or wipe clean; surface resists grime and odors
• Durable material won’t crack from routine use
• Stackable profile saves storage space

Who is this for: mechanics, DIY vehicle owners, and fleet technicians who need a dependable, portable containment solution for routine oil changes and fluid handling. If you want a lightweight, chemical‑resistant pan that reduces spills and is easy to store between jobs, the Capri Tools CP21021 is built for repetitive service use in home garages and professional bays.
