Carligo Car Grill Mesh SS304 13×43.3 in Black PVC-Coated — Heavy-Duty, Flexible Micro-Mesh

Carligo Heavy-Duty Car Grill Mesh is a 13" x 43.3" SS304 stainless steel, black PVC-coated sheet designed to protect vehicle radiators and vents while allowing airflow and easy customization.

This stainless-steel micro mesh combines corrosion-resistant SS304 wire with a black PVC coating for a low-profile, durable finish. With a 0.6 mm wire diameter and roughly 1 mm apertures, the panel balances protection against road debris and small stones with unrestricted airflow. The sheet is supplied as a flexible roll that you can trim, shape, and paint to suit bumpers, hood vents, speaker covers and a wide range of DIY automotive and household uses. Note: the package contains only the mesh—mounting hardware and trims are not included.

How does this mesh protect my car without blocking airflow?

The micro-mesh design uses small 1 mm openings that stop gravel, leaves, and larger particles while still letting air pass freely to the radiator and intercooler. The SS304 core provides inherent strength and corrosion resistance, and the PVC coating adds weatherproofing and a discreet black appearance. Together these features reduce the chance of debris-related damage without causing overheating when installed correctly.

• 1 mm aperture size for effective debris filtering with maintained airflow
• 0.6 mm SS304 wires for durability and corrosion resistance
• Black PVC coating for UV and weather protection
• Flexible roll format avoids solid blockages or airflow restrictions

Can I cut and shape this mesh myself—what tools and techniques work best?

Yes—this mesh was designed for straightforward DIY trimming and shaping. Ordinary heavy-duty scissors or tin snips will cut the PVC-coated stainless steel cleanly; finer finishing can be done with a file or sandpaper to remove sharp edges. Because the mesh is flexible, it can be formed around curved bumper openings or trimmed to fit vents and speaker grilles.

• Cut with strong scissors or tin snips; trim edges with a file
• Shape by gently bending to fit curved openings or recesses
• Secure with screws, automotive adhesive, or trim clips (not included)
• Mask and spray-paint for custom colors and textured finishes

What sizes and applications work best for this 13" x 43.3" sheet?

The supplied 13" x 43.3" panel is versatile for most bumper inserts, hood vents, and mid-sized openings on cars and trucks. Its universal dimensions allow you to cut multiple inserts from one sheet or cover long openings without seams. Beyond automotive use, the mesh is suitable for speaker covers, window screens, gutter guards, and other protective tasks where airflow and debris protection are needed.

• Fits most bumper openings and hood vents when trimmed to shape
• Can be cut into multiple smaller inserts for speaker or vent covers
• Suitable for household uses like gutter guards and window screening
• Flexible size supports creative customizations and overlays

How durable is this mesh in road and weather conditions?

Constructed from SS304 stainless steel and finished with black PVC, the mesh resists rust and endures exposure to road salts, moisture, and UV. The 0.6 mm wire thickness provides mechanical strength against impacts from small stones and debris at highway speeds, while the PVC layer helps reduce abrasion and fading. Regular inspection and secure mounting will extend service life in harsh driving environments.

• SS304 core offers corrosion resistance for long-term use
• PVC coating adds weatherproofing and a matte black look
• 0.6 mm wires resist deformation from small impacts
• Periodic checks and secure fastening recommended for longevity
