CARPRO Essence PLUS Ceramic Coating Booster 250ml — Non-Abrasive SiO2 Gloss, Hydrophobic High-Gloss

CARPRO Essence PLUS is a non-abrasive SiO2 gloss agent that restores and enhances ceramic coatings while adding a hydrophobic, high-gloss quartz resin layer.

Essence PLUS is formulated to refresh neglected or lightly damaged ceramic coatings and to lay a protective SiO2 layer on uncoated paint without aggressive polishing. It combines silica-based nano-chemistry, glossy quartz resins and hydrophobic nanoparticles to revive depth, reduce visible micro-swirls and improve water beading — all in a 250ml (8oz) bottle suitable for machine or hand application.

How does Essence PLUS restore shine without abrasive polishing?

Instead of cutting paint with abrasives, Essence PLUS deposits a semi-permanent nano-layer that fills and masks fine surface imperfections and worn coating areas. The silica and quartz resin components bond to the surface, rebuilding gloss and blending light-scattering micro-swirls so panels look richer and clearer.

• Non-abrasive SiO2 nano-agent that bonds to paint and existing coatings
• High-gloss quartz resins enhance reflected light and depth
• Reduces appearance of fine swirls where polish correction isn’t feasible
• Works by filling and smoothing microscopic surface irregularities

When should I use this product on my vehicle?

Use Essence PLUS when a full abrasive correction isn’t needed or desired — for example after weathering, light maintenance, or to revive factory-applied ceramic coatings. It’s ideal between detailing sessions to maintain gloss and hydrophobic performance, or when paint correction risks removing too much clear coat.

• After washing to restore dulled or neglected coatings
• Between full correction jobs to extend visual performance
• On new panels to add initial SiO2 protection without polishing
• When you want quick, machine-friendly application or hand use

What application methods and tools work best?

Essence PLUS is versatile: it can be applied by dual-action polisher, rotary, or by hand. Machine application gives even coverage and speed for larger panels, while hand application is practical for touch-ups or delicate areas. Always work on a cool, clean surface and follow wipe-off instructions for best cure and appearance.

• Apply with foam or microfiber pads on D/A polishers for even layers
• Rotary polishers can speed filling but require experienced control
• Hand application with a microfiber cloth is good for spot work
• Allow recommended flash time, then buff to a streak-free finish

What durability and protection can I expect?

While not a full replacement for a dedicated multi-year ceramic coating, Essence PLUS provides a semi-permanent SiO2 layer that improves hydrophobicity and gloss for weeks to months depending on conditions. It enhances water beading and adds a sacrificial, high-gloss resin layer that helps protect against light contamination and eases future maintenance.

• Improved water beading and easier drying/cleaning
• Semi-permanent SiO2 layer — longevity depends on exposure and maintenance
• Boosts gloss and surface slickness for easier upkeep
• Compatible as a repair/boost on existing ceramic coatings

Who is this for: CARPRO Essence PLUS is aimed at detailers and car owners who want a non-abrasive way to revive faded ceramic coatings, add SiO2 protection to uncoated paint, or quickly boost gloss and hydrophobic performance without full correction. It suits professionals seeking a maintenance product for client cars and enthusiasts who prefer machine or hand application to maintain showroom shine between major treatments.
