CARPRO Reset concentrated high-foaming car wash shampoo — 4L refill, pH-neutral, coating-safe cleaning

Designed as a companion for CARPRO’s lineup of sealants and ceramic coatings, Reset combines strong cleaning ability with a gentle pH-neutral finish. It lifts traffic film, oils, and light contaminants using an alkaline-assisted formula that rinses clean without stripping protection. Highly concentrated for economical use, the 4-liter (135 oz) refill keeps professional detailers and enthusiasts stocked for many washes.

How does Reset clean effectively without harming sealants or coatings?

Reset uses a balanced formula that breaks down dirt and organic film while remaining mild on hydrophobic and nanotech surfaces. It avoids harsh sulfates and aggressive surfactants that can degrade protective layers, letting you remove contaminants without compromising longevity.

• Alkaline-enhanced detergent action lifts grime but is neutralized to be coating-friendly.
• Formulated to pair with CARPRO coatings like CQUARTZ, Reload and HydroO2.
• Mild, pH-neutral final rinse minimizes risk of stripping sealants.

What dilution ratio and usage give the best value and safety?

Reset is highly concentrated—use small amounts to cover large areas, which reduces waste and shipping footprint. Typical dilution ranges from roughly 400:1 to 500:1 depending on soil level, so a single 4L jug stretches to many washes when mixed correctly.

• Light soil: higher dilution near 500:1 for maintenance washing.
• Moderate to heavy grime: reduce dilution toward 400:1 for stronger cleaning power.
• Compatible with foam cannons, buckets, and wash mitt workflows.

Is Reset environmentally conscious and safe for regular use?

Reset is formulated mostly from natural, organic, biodegradable ingredients and avoids harsh sodium and lauryl sulfate derivatives common in cheaper shampoos. Its biodegradability and mild residue profile make it suitable for frequent maintenance when rinsed properly.

• Derived primarily from biodegradable, organic sources.
• Free from aggressive sulfate detergents that can leave residues.
• Produces abundant foam for safe lubrication of wash mitts and reduced surface abrasion.

How does Reset feel and perform during the wash process?

Reset delivers thick, slick foam that improves mitt glide and reduces marring risk. Users report a pleasant fresh scent and easy rinsing, leaving surfaces ready for drying and reapplication of maintenance sprays if desired.

• High-foaming profile improves contact time and soil encapsulation.
• Excellent lubrication protects paint while removing contaminants.
• Rinses clean with minimal spotting and no greasy residue.

Who is this for: CARPRO Reset 4L is intended for car detailers, enthusiasts, and anyone who maintains vehicles finished with ceramic coatings or nanotechnology sealants. If you want a cost-effective, coating-friendly shampoo that produces rich foam, protects hydrophobic treatments, and is kinder to the environment than standard sulfate-based soaps, Reset is an appropriate choice.
