Cenipar Universal Trailer Hitch Lock Set — 3-Piece Ball & Coupler Locks, Black Hardened Steel

Cenipar's Universal Trailer Locks Ball Hitch Set is a three-piece keyed coupler and hitch lock kit designed to secure 1-7/8", 2", and 2-5/16" trailer couplers and hitch balls, deterring theft while resisting weather and tampering.

Whether you tow a boat, RV, utility trailer, or equipment trailer, this Cenipar lock kit gives a practical, heavy-duty way to protect your trailer when it's parked or stored. The package pairs a primary ball hitch lock with three interchangeable pins that use a shared key, simplifying access while minimizing the number of keys to carry. Built from hardened steel and corrosion-resistant materials with a ratchet-style fit and PVC-coated U-bolt, the set balances security, versatility, and long-term durability.

How does this lock kit fit different trailer couplers and hitch balls?

The Cenipar set uses adjustable locking components so one kit works across common coupler and ball sizes. The ratcheting mechanism lets you lock at multiple positions for a secure, tight fit on 1-7/8", 2", and 2-5/16" couplers, while included pins accommodate standard hitch configurations.

• Adjustable ratchet-style lock fits three common coupler diameters.
• Includes 5/8" and 1/2" hitch pins plus a coupler pin for flexible use.
• PVC-coated U-bolt protects the coupler finish from scratches and corrosion.

What materials and weather protection keep this lock reliable outdoors?

This kit combines high-strength steel with premium aluminum and protective coatings so it withstands prying and rust. Internal parts are sealed against dust and moisture to maintain smooth operation through rain, snow, and temperature swings.

• Hardened steel body resists cutting and prying attempts.
• Corrosion-resistant exterior finish and sealed internals prevent rust.
• Precision ratchet and tight-fit holes lower chances of forced removal.

How user-friendly is installation and daily use?

Installation is straightforward: position the lock over the coupler or ball, select the matching pin, and ratchet to secure. The shared-key design reduces key clutter—three locks operate with the same key—so you carry fewer keys without sacrificing control.

• Simple ratchet closure for quick, tool-free locking and unlocking.
• Two keys included; identical key for all three lock pieces.
• PVC grip makes handling easier and prevents surface damage during fit-up.

What kind of theft deterrent performance can I expect?

The kit is designed as a visible, effective deterrent rather than an impenetrable vault—bright black finish and robust appearance discourage opportunistic theft. Combined with a secure parking strategy, the locks significantly lower the likelihood your trailer will be targeted.

• High-visibility finish and solid construction discourage tampering.
• Multiple locking points increase effort required to remove trailer.
• Cost-effective protection that complements alarms or wheel locks.
