Champion Power Equipment neoprene winch cover for 2000–3500 lb winches — washable, drawstring-secured fit

The Champion Power Equipment 18030 neoprene winch cover shields 2000–3500 lb. winches from moisture, dirt and UV exposure with a stretchable, drawstring-secured fit.

Keep a mounted winch ready for action by preventing corrosion, grime buildup and sun damage when it's not in use. This Champion cover is made from a washable neoprene exterior that stretches over winches in the 2,000 to 3,500 pound class and locks in place with an adjustable drawstring. It’s designed specifically to match the contours of compatible Champion truck and SUV winches for a snug, low-profile fit.

How does this cover protect my winch when it’s parked?

The neoprene material sheds water and blocks airborne contaminants so internal winch components stay cleaner longer. It also reduces direct UV exposure that can dry and weaken lines and cables over time. With the drawstring cinched, the cover resists wind lift and keeps out debris.

• Water-resistant neoprene outer layer repels rain and snow
• Stops dust, road grit, insects and bird debris from accumulating
• Drawstring secures cover against gusts and rough driving conditions

Will this cover fit my winch model and how easy is it to install?

The 18030 is sized to fit Champion winches rated between 2,000 and 3,500 pounds; its elastic properties accommodate typical winch shapes and hardware. Installation is quick — slip the stretchable cover over the winch and pull the adjustable cord for a tailored fit. The washable fabric keeps maintenance straightforward.

• Designed for Champion truck and SUV winches 2000–3500 lb.
• Stretchable construction fits common winch profiles
• Single-step installation and short-term removal for use

What are the material and care features of this winch cover?

The cover’s exterior is neoprene, chosen for its durability, water resistance and ease of cleaning. It can be hand-washed or rinsed to remove road salt, mud or oils, then air-dried to preserve the fabric’s properties. The adjustable cord and seams are built to withstand repeated use and simple handling.

• Durable, washable neoprene stands up to outdoor exposure
• Low-maintenance care: rinse, mild soap, air dry
• Constructed for repeated stretching and fastening without fraying

Does this cover interfere with winch operation or wiring when removed?

The 18030 is a storage cover intended for protection while the winch is idle; it is not a permanent mount or operational shroud. Remove the cover before using the winch to access the drum, fairlead and control wiring. Lightweight and elastic, it’s easy to remove and replace between uses.

• Designed for storage protection, not in-use operation
• Quick off/on for rapid transition to use
• No alterations to winch wiring or mounting required

Who is this cover for? If you own a Champion truck or SUV winch rated roughly 2,000–3,500 pounds and want a simple, durable way to reduce corrosion, grime and UV exposure, the 18030 neoprene cover is a practical accessory. It suits owners who store vehicles outdoors, frequently drive on salted or dusty roads, or simply prefer a low-effort protective solution that’s easy to remove before work.
