Chemical Guys Lucent Spray Shine Synthetic Spray Wax 16 oz — High-Gloss, Quick Spray-and-Wipe Protection

Chemical Guys Lucent Spray Shine is a 100% synthetic spray wax that delivers a high-gloss, streak-free shine and slickness to painted surfaces, glass, metal, chrome, and wheels in seconds.

Lucent Spray Shine Synthetic Spray Wax is built for fast, repeatable gloss. This polymer-based formula sprays on wet or dry surfaces to boost depth and slickness while repelling light dust and fingerprints. It’s formulated for car enthusiasts and detailers who want quick enhancement and light protection without the time or tools required for liquid or paste waxes.

How quickly does Lucent Spray Shine improve my car’s appearance?

Expect immediate visual results: a noticeable increase in wet-look gloss and surface slickness right after application. There’s no buffing ritual needed—wiping with a microfiber towel removes residue and leaves a clear, reflective finish.

• Applies in seconds with a spray-and-wipe workflow
• Works on wet or dry surfaces to save prep time
• Produces streak-free high gloss without heavy rubbing

Will this spray wax protect paint and other finishes?

Lucent provides a polymer layer that adds temporary protection against light contaminants and helps water sheet off surfaces, but it’s not a long-term ceramic replacement. Use it as a quick-maintenance topcoat between deeper sealants or as an instant boost before shows and outings.

• Leaves a protective synthetic polymer layer
• Reduces water beading and light soiling
• Best used as interim maintenance, not a permanent coating

On which surfaces can I use this spray wax safely?

Lucent is formulated to be safe on all glossy paints as well as glass, chrome, metal trim, and finished wheels. Test on a small inconspicuous area first when working with matte or delicate finishes to ensure compatibility.

• Safe for clear coat and single-stage paints
• Effective on glass, chrome, and metal details
• Also suitable for wheels to quickly remove brake dust sheen

How do I apply Lucent Spray Shine for best results?

Spray a light mist onto the surface or onto a microfiber towel, then spread and buff until the surface becomes glossy and slick. For wet-surface use, spray and squeegee or towel off excess; for dry surfaces, follow with a clean microfiber to refine the shine.

• Spray directly or onto a microfiber applicator
• Wipe with a clean microfiber towel to remove residue
• Use spot-by-spot for even coverage and consistent gloss

Who is this for: Chemical Guys Lucent Spray Shine is ideal for car owners and detailers who want an ultra-fast, no-fuss gloss enhancer and light protector. It’s especially useful for weekenders preparing a car for a meet, detailers doing quick touch-ups between jobs, and anyone who prefers spray-on convenience over bulky wax systems. Use it as a finishing step after washing or as a quick refresh whenever a bright, slick finish is desired.
