Chemical Guys Microfibre Towels 16 x 16 in Gold - 3-Pack, Ultra-Soft High-Pile Absorbent Detailing Cloths

Chemical Guys Professional Microfiber Towels (16" x 16", Gold, 3-pack) are ultra-soft, high-pile detailing cloths designed to safely remove wax, polish, and residue while drying and buffing finishes without scratching.

These premium microfiber towels are engineered for car care enthusiasts and professional detailers who need a reliable, reusable cloth that handles paint, glass, chrome, and interior surfaces. Each 16 x 16 inch towel uses a high-pile, scratch-free fiber that increases absorbency and reduces streaking and lint, so you complete jobs faster and with a cleaner result. The gold color helps separate these towels for specific tasks, and the three-pack ensures you always have a fresh towel available during multi-step detailing sessions.

How do these towels improve drying and buffing results?

The high-pile microfiber construction soaks up water and polishes product residue more quickly than standard terry cloth. Fewer passes are needed, which minimizes the chance of creating streaks or missing spots.

• High-pile fibers hold more liquid for faster drying and fewer re-touches.
• Soft, non-abrasive surface reduces swirl risk during buffing.
• 16" x 16" size balances coverage with maneuverability around panels.

Are these safe on sensitive surfaces like clear coat and glass?

Yes—these towels are made from a gentle, lint-free microfiber that is safe for painted clear coats, glass, chrome, plastic, and interior trim when used correctly. Use dedicated towels for different areas to avoid cross-contamination between heavy-decontamination tasks and final finishing.

• Scratch-free fibers avoid marring delicate clear coats.
• Lint-free weave leaves glass streak-free when used with a proper cleaner.
• Color-coding (gold) helps reserve these for finishing or drying steps.

How durable are these towels and how should I care for them?

Chemical Guys designed these microfiber towels to withstand frequent machine washing without losing softness or absorbency. Proper laundering preserves performance so the towels remain effective through hundreds of cycles.

• Machine washable—wash warm, avoid fabric softeners and bleach.
• Air-dry or tumble low to protect microfiber loft and longevity.
• Store clean and dry to prevent contamination and odors.

What detailing tasks are these 3-pack towels best suited for?

The 16 x 16 size and balanced pile make these towels versatile for exterior and interior use. From finishing wax removal to interior dusting and glass polishing, they offer a professional finish in everyday and advanced detailing.

• Removing wax, sealants, and quick detail sprays from paintwork.
• Drying panels after washes and absorbing polish residue during correction.
• Cleaning glass, chrome, screens, and interior surfaces without lint.
