Chemical Guys Ultra Plush Edgeless Microfibre Towel 16x16 Purple — streak-free drying & gentle buffing

The Chemical Guys Happy Ending Ultra Plush Edgeless Microfiber Towel is an extra-soft, edgeless 80/20 microfiber cloth designed for streak-free drying, gentle buffing, and scratch-free detailing.

This premium 16" x 16" towel combines an edgeless construction with a dense 80/20 microfiber blend to lift water, polish residue, and trap dirt without abrading delicate paints or glass. Its plush pile provides a cushioned, non-abrasive surface that makes removing waxes, sealants, and polish residue easier while the color-coded option helps keep tasks organized and contamination-free.

How does the edgeless design protect paint while drying?

The towel's seamless edges eliminate stitched hems that can catch or create micro-scratches, giving you a safer contact point for paint and clear coat. The soft, plush face cradles water and particles so they’re lifted away instead of dragged across surfaces.

• Seamless perimeter prevents abrasive contact with paintwork
• Plush pile traps particles away from the surface
• 80/20 microfiber balance optimizes softness and absorbency
• Ideal for final wipe-downs after rinsing or rinseless washes

Can this towel handle buffing off waxes and sealants?

Yes — the dense microfiber lifts and distributes product residues efficiently, cutting down on heavy elbow work while leaving a glossy finish. It’s gentle enough for clear coats yet effective at removing excess product without streaking.

• Use for light buffing of wax, sealant, and glaze residue
• Reduces the need for aggressive rubbing or repeated passes
• Leaves a clean, streak-free appearance on paint and trim
• Perfect as a final polishing cloth after compound or polish

How absorbent is the Happy Ending towel for drying jobs?

The towel’s high-density microfiber soaks up significant water quickly, letting you dry panels faster with fewer passes. Because it holds moisture rather than spreading it, you’ll achieve streak-free panels and windows with less effort.

• Rapid water pickup reduces drying time
• Holds liquid inside fibers to prevent dripping
• Smaller 16" x 16" size is easy to handle and manoeuvre
• Great for spot-drying mirrors, trim, and smaller panels

What maintenance keeps the towel performing its best?

Wash on a warm, gentle cycle without fabric softeners or bleach to preserve absorbency and fiber split. Air-dry or tumble low; avoid contact with high-heat dryers and abrasive cleaners to keep the plush nap intact and edgeless construction effective.

• Launder separately from towels with zippers or Velcro
• No fabric softener or dryer sheets — they clog fibers
• Use mild detergent and low-heat drying or air-dry
• Replace if fibers matt or performance drops noticeably
