Chemical Guys XXX Hardcore Carnauba Paste Wax 8 oz — Deep Wet Warm Gloss, Polymer-Enhanced Durability

Chemical Guys XXX Hardcore Carnauba Paste Wax is a premium 47% carnauba formula that builds a deep, wet, warm gloss with polymer-enhanced durability for painted vehicles.

This paste wax blends unbleached and yellow carnauba with engineered LTI polymers so you get the rich, multi-dimensional shine carnauba is known for plus improved resistance to sun, water, and contaminants. The 8 oz container is designed for layering, letting you boost depth and wetness on any paint color while retaining the classic natural look of pure carnauba. Use it as a finishing step after paint correction or quick polishing to create striking gloss with measurable staying power.

How does this wax create such a deep, wet-looking shine?

The formula uses a high concentration of carnauba wax combined with polymers that fill fine surface irregularities and enhance light reflection. The result is an intense, warm gloss that appears both deep and saturated, especially under sunlight or showroom lighting.

• 47% white unbleached and yellow carnauba by volume for natural depth
• LTI polymer blend that boosts reflectivity and gloss clarity
• Paste consistency allows controlled application for layered depth

Will this wax hold up outdoors and for how long?

Polymers in the formula extend durability beyond what pure carnauba alone typically provides, offering protective qualities against everyday elements. Expect protection that performs best when maintained semi-regularly; typical longevity ranges depend on conditions and prep but generally lasts for multiple weeks to a few months.

• Engineered polymers increase water beading and environmental resistance
• Best longevity when applied over clean, dry, and decontaminated paint
• Ideal maintenance: wash, inspect, and reapply as needed every 2–3 months

How should I apply and layer this paste wax for optimal results?

Application is straightforward: work small panels at a time using a soft foam or microfiber applicator, allow the wax to haze, then buff with a clean microfiber towel. Because the product is engineered for layering, repeat thin coats to intensify gloss without build-up or streaking.

• Apply thin, even coats to one panel at a time
• Let haze briefly, then buff with a plush microfiber for a deep shine
• Layer multiple thin coats to increase depth and wet-look intensity

Will this wax work on all paints and colors?

This paste is formulated to enhance all factory and custom automotive paints, brightening dark colors and adding warmth to lighter shades. Its paste texture adapts well to curves, creases, and flat surfaces, producing consistent gloss across the vehicle.

• Safe on clearcoats, single-stage, and factory finishes when used as directed
• Enhances contrast and depth on dark paints; warms up light tones
• Pleasant paste body for precise control on complex panels

Who is this for? This wax suits enthusiasts and professional detailers who value the classic richness of carnauba but want added durability from modern polymers. It’s a strong choice for show cars, weekend drivers, and anyone who prefers the warm, liquid shimmer of a paste wax and plans to maintain their vehicle seasonally. Avoid applying to dirty, heavily-oxidized, or freshly-sprayed paint without proper prep; for best results pair with a thorough wash, clay or decontamination step, and any necessary paint correction before waxing.
