CleanTools Absorber XL 29" x 18" Drying Chamois — Blue, Super-Absorbent Scratch-Free, Machine Washable

CleanTools The Absorber XL is a large, synthetic drying chamois that soaks up water fast and wipes vehicles dry without scratching paint.

Designed for detailers, car owners and fleet managers, this 29" x 18" blue drying chamois combines high absorbency with a lint-free finish and long-lasting washability. The synthetic material resists grease, oil and many chemicals, making it practical for automotive use. It packs into a handy storage tube and is built to endure repeated machine washes, so you get reliable drying performance over years rather than weeks.

How quickly will it dry my car after a wash?

The Absorber XL pulls water off painted surfaces rapidly thanks to its high-absorbency synthetic fibers. In most cases a single wide pass will remove the majority of standing water, cutting overall drying time and reducing water spots.

• Large 29" x 18" size covers more surface per pass
• High-capacity synthetic material soaks water without dripping
• Lint-free finish prevents fibers from sticking to paint
• Wide flat profile helps flatten water into the cloth for quick pickup

Will it scratch or leave residue on paint and trim?

CleanTools designed this chamois to be scratch-free when used properly on smooth, debris-free surfaces. Because it does not shed lint and resists grease and oil, it won’t leave a filmy residue; still, always rinse grit from the cloth before using on paint.

• Lint-free drying minimizes particles left behind
• Resists contamination from grease and many chemicals
• Soft synthetic weave reduces abrasion risk compared with rough towels
• Machine washable to remove trapped debris between uses

How should I care for this drying chamois to make it last?

Maintaining the Absorber XL is straightforward: rinse after use, and machine wash without fabric softener. Proper storage in the supplied tube keeps it clean and shaped for the next job, helping the cloth last for years.

• Rinse thoroughly to remove grit and contaminants
• Machine wash; avoid fabric softeners and bleach
• Air dry or tumble low to preserve fibers
• Store in the included tube to maintain shape and cleanliness

What surfaces and vehicles is it suitable for?

The Absorber XL is sized and constructed for cars, trucks and larger vehicles such as vans and SUVs. It performs well on paint, glass and chrome; avoid using on extremely rough or unsecured surfaces that could trap abrasive particles.

• Ideal for automotive paint, windows and trim
• Large format suits trucks, SUVs and fleet vehicles
• Not recommended for heavily soiled, gritty surfaces without pre-rinse
• Works with regular soaps and detailing rinses
