COLLINITE Insulator Wax Carnauba + Polymer Sealant 16 fl oz, 2 Microfibre Blocks — High Gloss, Multi-Month Protection

COLLINITE 845 Insulator Wax is a carnauba- and polymer-based paste sealant that delivers deep gloss, strong water beading and multi-month protection with easy on/easy off application.

Built from a longtime favorite among enthusiasts and professional detailers, this formulation blends natural carnauba wax with durable polymers to create a resilient, high-gloss finish. The 16 fl oz tin included here comes as a combo with two microfiber applicator blocks so you can apply by hand or with a dual-action (DA) polisher for optimal spread and cure. Users praise its balance of shine, longevity and straightforward removal—making it a practical final step for cars, boats, RVs, motorcycles and trucks.

How long will the protection last on my vehicle?

Expect months of weather resistance rather than days—typical results fall in the multi-month range depending on conditions, maintenance and application method. In sheltered climates or with gentle wash routines you’ll see the longest durability.

• Typical longevity: 4–7 months under normal driving and weather.
• Heavier exposure (UV, salt, frequent washes) shortens life.
• Reapply after washing or when beading decreases noticeably.

How do I apply Collinite 845 for the best gloss and durability?

Application is straightforward: apply a thin, even layer, allow slight haze or dwell per environmental conditions, then remove with a clean microfiber. For quickest uniform coverage and optimum bonding, spread the product with a DA polisher before final buffing by hand.

• Use included microfiber blocks for hand application.
• For DA use, spread first then buff once tackiness appears.
• Minimal buffing needed—product wipes clean without aggressive effort.

Will this wax work on different vehicles and surfaces?

Yes—845 is formulated to perform on clearcoat paints and gelcoat, so it’s suitable for cars, boats, motorcycles, RVs and trucks. It’s not a paint correction product; prep surfaces with proper cleaning and decontamination for best optical results.

• Safe on clearcoat, single-stage and gelcoat finishes when surface-prepped.
• Not intended to remove severe scratches or oxidation.
• Works for both hand and machine application methods.

What makes Collinite 845 different from liquid sealants?

As a paste formula, 845 combines the warm optical depth of carnauba with the resilience of synthetic polymers, offering a balance of glossy appearance and robust water beading that liquids often trade off. The paste form can provide a thicker film layer for extended protection when applied correctly.

• Paste texture yields richer warmth and depth in finish.
• Polymers add weather resistance and bead longevity.
• Minimal buffing reduces effort while maintaining high shine.

Who is this for? Collinite 845 Insulator Wax is aimed at car care enthusiasts, weekend detailers, boat owners and owners of RVs or motorcycles who want an easy-to-apply final step that emphasizes deep gloss, strong water beading and months-long protection. It’s a good pick if you want a proven paste sealant that works well by hand or with a DA polisher, and the included microfiber applicator blocks make it convenient for immediate use.
