COLLINITE Marine Paste Wax 885 Paste & Towel — Heavy-Duty UV and Salt Protection, High-Gloss

Collinite 885 Heavy Duty Fleetwax Paste with towel is a marine-grade paste wax that delivers extended UV and salt protection plus a high-gloss carnauba finish for fiberglass, gelcoat, RVs and boats.

Engineered for fleet use and serious boat owners, Collinite 885 combines durable marine polymers with carnauba to resist sun, salt and atmospheric contaminants while keeping gelcoat and fiberglass looking newer between cleanings. The kit includes one can of paste wax and a cloth towel (color may vary), and it’s formulated to spread easily, buff quickly and provide season-long performance on large surfaces.

How does Collinite 885 protect against sun and salt over a full season?

885 contains marine-grade polymers that form a protective film on top of gelcoat and fiberglass, helping to block UV-driven breakdown and resisting salt and mineral deposits. Rather than a thin, quickly wearing layer, this formula is intended to maintain repellency and gloss through fluctuating weather so surfaces need fewer interventions.

• Fortified polymer blend for UV resistance
• Helps repel salt spray and mineral buildup
• Reduces frequency of in-season maintenance

What kind of shine and durability can I expect from the paste?

Collinite 885 produces a deep carnauba gloss with durable water beading and resistance to fading or oxidation. In real-world conditions, users commonly get months of protection—saving time and product compared with short-lived waxes.

• High-gloss carnauba finish
• Water-beading repellency that lasts months
• Helps prevent premature fading and surface discoloration

How easy is it to apply and how much area does one can cover?

The paste is formulated to spread more readily than traditional paste waxes and requires only moderate buffing for removal, which speeds application on large vehicles and boats. A single 12 fl oz can provides efficient coverage, making it economical for fleet-sized or recreational projects.

• Spreads quickly for faster coverage
• Moderate buffing — not labor-intensive
• One can can protect up to eight 20-foot fiberglass boats

Will Collinite 885 work on surfaces besides boats?

Yes — the formula is suitable for fiberglass, gelcoat, RV exteriors and other marine-grade or painted surfaces where long-lasting gloss and protection are desired. Avoid using on untreated plastics or matte finishes where a high-gloss result is not wanted.

• Safe on fiberglass and gelcoat surfaces
• Compatible with RV and marine exteriors
• Not recommended for matte finishes or certain plastics

Who is this for: Collinite 885 Heavy Duty Fleetwax Paste & Towel is best for boat owners, marinas, RV operators, and fleet managers who need durable, season-long protection and a deep carnauba shine on large fiberglass or gelcoat surfaces. It’s also a smart pick for DIY enthusiasts who want fewer maintenance cycles, fast application, and proven marine-grade performance.
