Continental 65127 is a 25-foot, 5/16" inner diameter multipurpose fuel hose rated for 50 psi working pressure and built for fuel, PCV and emission-control use.
This Continental Elite SAE J30R7 hose combines a nitrile fuel-resistant tube with a two-spiral synthetic reinforcement and a chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) cover to deliver a durable, heat-resistant line for fuel-system and emission-control plumbing. Designed and manufactured in the U.S.A., the hose is compatible with unleaded gasoline, diesel, E-10, E85 and sour gas, and is engineered to hold up under common automotive and small-engine conditions. It is not intended for fuel-injection high-pressure systems.
The 65127 is intended for low- to moderate-pressure fuel routing and emission plumbing tasks—things like fuel return lines, PCV connections and vapor or emission-control tubing. It’s a versatile replacement hose for many older and aftermarket systems where SAE J30R7 construction is specified.
Material choices—nitrile tube and CPE cover—make the hose compatible with a broad range of fuels including ethanol blends and sour gas while resisting swelling and deterioration. Its published temperature range supports typical engine-bay extremes without rapid breakdown.
The hose is sized for a 5/16" inner diameter and an outer diameter of approximately .56 inches, making it easy to fit many standard barbed fittings and clamps. It carries a 50 psi working pressure rating with a 250 psi burst pressure safety margin—adequate for return/vent lines but not for fuel-injection feed lines.
Continental engineered this hose for lifespan and reliability: the two-spiral synthetic reinforcement resists collapse and elongation, and the CPE cover provides abrasion and heat resistance for use in engine compartments. The 25-foot coil gives installers flexibility to cut custom lengths and make quick repairs or runs without repeatedly joining short pieces.
Who this is for: technicians, restoration hobbyists, and DIY mechanics who need a dependable, fuel-compatible hose for non-pressurized fuel circuits, PCV and emission plumbing. Avoid using this hose on high-pressure fuel-injection feed lines; for those applications, choose OEM-recommended high-pressure tubing instead. If you need a long, U.S.-made SAE J30R7-rated hose that tolerates ethanol blends and engine-bay heat while maintaining flow, the Continental 65127 is a practical choice.
Q: Can I use this hose on fuel-injected engines?
A: No. This hose is rated 50 psi working pressure and is not suitable for high-pressure fuel-injection feed lines.
Q: Is the Continental 65127 compatible with E85 fuel?
A: Yes. The hose is compatible with E85, E-10, unleaded gasoline, diesel and sour gas.
