Counteract KIT-B is a do-it-yourself motorcycle tire balancing beads kit that automatically balances your wheel assembly using tempered glass beads, with valve caps, cores, a core remover and an injector bottle included.
Designed for riders who want a simple, long-lasting way to balance motorcycle wheels without shop visits, the KIT-B contains measured bead bags, hardware and tools to install beads inside the tire. The system uses tiny, 99.9% tempered glass spheres that distribute under centrifugal force to correct imbalances continuously as the wheel spins. This product description explains how the kit works, what’s in the box, and who benefits most from using it.
Once installed inside the tire, the glass beads move under centrifugal force and settle where weight distribution is needed, creating a dynamic and self-adjusting balance. The beads act independently of the wheel and continue to reposition during acceleration, deceleration and cornering, addressing small changes in balance over the life of the tire.
KIT-B ships with one 1 oz bag and one 2 oz bag of balancing beads sized for motorcycle tires, plus two valve caps, two valve cores, a core remover tool and an injector bottle/tube for easy delivery. Installation is performed through the valve stem using the included core remover and injector bottle—no dismounting of the tire required when following instructions.
The beads help reduce uneven tire wear by evening out rotational imbalances that cause localized stress. By lowering rolling resistance and smoothing wheel rotation, the kit can contribute to more uniform tread wear and improved efficiency at sustained highway speeds.
Counteract beads are designed to stay inside the tire and wheel assembly; they do not interact with the rim or cause contamination. Periodic checks of valve seals and tire pressure are recommended, especially after installation, and follow the included instructions for safe handling of the glass beads and components.
Who is this for: Counteract KIT-B is aimed at motorcycle owners, DIY mechanics, and touring riders who prefer a low-maintenance, in-tire balancing solution. It suits those who want to reduce asymmetrical tire wear, improve rotational smoothness, and avoid frequent shop visits for dynamic balancing. If you maintain your own tires, travel long distances, or want an environmentally friendlier alternative to stick-on wheel weights, this kit is a practical choice.
Q: Can I install the KIT-B myself without removing the tire?
A: Yes. The kit includes an injector bottle and core remover that allow bead installation through the valve stem without removing the tire.
Q: Will Counteract beads damage my tire or void the warranty?
A: Counteract beads are made of tempered glass and are designed not to damage tires; the company states they do not void tire or wheel warranties.
