Creative Products Group Locking Knob Set for RV Doors, Matte Black Brass Privacy Lock

The Creative Products Group LSK-C3-MB Locking Knob Set is a matte-black, privacy-style door knob built for RV bathroom and bedroom doors, offering a compact locking solution with durable brass construction.

This compact knob set delivers a blend of function and finish tailored to recreational vehicle interiors. Sized for typical RV door thickness and engineered for a simple drive-in latch installation, the unit balances easy privacy with a modern matte-black look. It’s made from brass for long-lasting service and installs into most RV interior doors that are between 1-1/8" and 1-1/2" thick. The set’s backset and latch dimensions match common RV door hardware, making it a direct swap for many existing knobs.

Will this knob fit my RV door and existing latch?

Check your door thickness and backset to confirm compatibility. The LSK-C3-MB fits doors 1-1/8" to 1-1/2" thick and is designed around a 2-3/8" backset with a 7/8" drive-in latch, which aligns with many RV interior doors.

• Door thickness: fits 1-1/8"–1-1/2" doors
• Backset: 2-3/8", common RV standard
• Latch type: 7/8" drive-in for straightforward replacement
• Ideal for bathroom and bedroom interior doors

How is the privacy locking mechanism operated and released?

The knob uses a privacy-style lock that secures from the inside with a simple turn or push operation. From the outside, it typically unlocks with a small emergency release slot or tool, which maintains privacy while allowing access in an emergency without damaging the door.

• Interior lock operation: quick turn or push to lock
• Exterior access: emergency release for safety
• No keyed cylinder—designed for privacy, not high security
• Suitable for bathroom and bedroom privacy needs

What materials and finish should I expect, and how will they hold up in an RV?

The knob set is constructed from brass and finished in matte black for a contemporary look. Brass resists corrosion better than many base metals, and the matte black finish reduces visible fingerprints and complements modern RV interiors.

• Core material: durable brass for longevity
• Finish: matte black for a smudge-minimizing surface
• Low-maintenance: simple cleaning with a soft cloth
• Decor-friendly: pairs well with dark hardware and neutral interiors

How difficult is installation and what tools are required?

Installation is straightforward for anyone with basic DIY skills and common tools. The latch is a drive-in type that seats into the door edge, and the knob components mount through standard bore holes; the product is aimed at quick swaps or replaceable upgrades in RVs.

• Requires standard screwdriver and possibly a drill for adjustments
• Drive-in latch simplifies installation—no mortising required
• Designed to line up with a 2-3/8" backset without additional hardware
• Manufacturer instructions typically included for step-by-step help
