Dazakoot 7-Way Round Trailer Plug & Socket Set — 2 Plugs/1 Die-Cast Zinc Socket, SAE J560 Compatible

Dazakoot 7-way round vehicle-side plug and socket set provides a heavy-duty replacement for trailer wiring, delivering reliable electrical connections for lights, brakes, and auxiliary circuits. This replacement kit includes two 7-pin round plugs and one die-cast zinc socket designed to SAE J560-compatible applications commonly found on semi-trucks, pickups, tractors, and commercial vehicles. Built for frequent use and exposure to road grime, the set focuses on rugged construction and straightforward wiring to restore towing electrical function quickly.

How does this kit restore trailer lighting and braking circuits?

The set supplies all seven standard trailer circuits—turn signals, tail lamps, brakes, reverse, auxiliary power and ground—so you can rebuild a connector that was corroded or damaged. Wiring each colored lead to the matching pin re-establishes full electrical continuity between vehicle and trailer.

• Complete 7-pin layout to match SAE J560 wiring conventions
• Two replacement plugs for trailer or vehicle ends
• Clear pin locations for quick wire matching and solder or crimp attachment

How weatherproof and robust is the socket under real-world conditions?

The socket uses a die-cast zinc body and a spring-loaded dust cover to keep water, dirt and road spray out when not connected. The silver metal dust lip improves sealing at the face while adding corrosion resistance across the housing.

• Die-cast zinc construction resists impact and rust
• Spring-loaded dust cover protects pins from contamination
• Metal dust lip enhances sealing and longevity

How simple is installation for a DIY mechanic?

The design emphasizes straightforward wiring: match each wire to its designated pin and secure with solder or a recommended crimp connector. Clear pin mapping and a plug-and-socket pairing let a competent DIYer complete replacement in a short timeframe with common tools.

• Standard pin numbering and wire color matching reduce guesswork
• Fits common trucks, trailers and tractors using 7-pin round connections
• No specialized tools required beyond stripping, crimping or soldering equipment

Which existing parts or systems does this replace?

This Dazakoot assembly is intended as a replacement for many OEM and aftermarket 7-pin round connectors and fits typical commercial towing setups. It can serve as a direct swap where the original has failed from corrosion, bent pins, or broken housing.

• Compatible with common 7-way round trailer wiring standards
• Useful for replacing worn assemblies from multiple manufacturers
• Works on vehicles that require SAE J560-style connectors

Who is this for? This replacement set is aimed at fleet maintenance crews, owner-operators, pickup owners who tow regularly, and roadside repair technicians who need a fast, durable fix for lost trailer circuits. It suits anyone replacing a corroded or damaged 7-pin round connector and wanting a sturdy, weather-protected socket plus spare plugs to complete or upgrade a towing electrical interface.
