Demimy 24 Inch Mud Flap Weights Pair with Backing Plates — 4-Piece Bolt-On Kit, Polished Finish

Demimy 24 Inch Mud Flap Weights Pair with Backing Plates is a bolt-on four-piece kit that adds lower-edge weight and reinforced mounting for compatible 24" mud flaps while giving a polished mirror-finish look.

Upgrade the stability and appearance of your existing mud flaps with a simple bolt-on accessory. This kit is designed for mud flaps that measure 24 inches wide and includes two weights and two backing plates plus all necessary M8 hardware. The polished front plates visually coordinate your truck’s rear while the backing plates distribute load and strengthen the attachment area to reduce flapping and wear.

How do these weights improve mud flap performance?

The added weight along the lower edge reduces wind-driven movement and helps keep the flap hanging straight during highway speeds. Backing plates reinforce the area around the mounting holes so the flap material is less likely to tear under stress. Together they increase durability and maintain a cleaner appearance over time.

• Low-edge weight reduces flap flutter at speed
• Backing plates spread load across the mounting area
• Bolt-on fit minimizes the need for adhesives or permanent modifications

Will these fit my mud flaps and truck setup?

These components are intended for mud flaps that are 24 inches wide; fit is determined by the flap width, hole pattern, and available clearance near tires and moving parts. Measure your flap width and inspect the mounting hole locations before ordering. If your flap or truck has limited clearance, you may need a different style or placement.

• Designed for 24" wide mud flaps — measure to confirm
• Compare mounting hole spacing with your current flaps
• Verify clearance from tires, suspension, and pivoting parts

What parts are included and how are they installed?

The kit contains two mud flap weights, two backing plates, and a set of M8 fasteners sized for bolt-on installation. Installation typically requires aligning the backing plate behind the flap, placing the weight on the front edge, then securing with the provided carriage bolts, nuts, flat washers and spring lock washers. Basic hand tools are sufficient; installation time depends on access and the vehicle’s mounting arrangement.

• Includes: 2 weights, 2 backing plates, 6 M8x30mm carriage bolts, 6 M8 nuts, 6 flat washers, 6 spring lock washers
• Bolt-on mounting — no adhesives or welding required
• Simple hand tools (wrench/sockets) recommended for installation

What aesthetic effect do the mirror-finish plates provide?

The mirror-finish front plates give a coordinated, polished look to your truck’s rear edge, improving visual continuity with chrome or stainless accents. Because the plates are paired, both sides of the vehicle match for a balanced appearance. The finish also makes the lower edge easier to clean and visually communicates a finished, aftermarket upgrade.

• Mirror front plates for a polished, coordinated look
• Paired set updates both sides for symmetry
• Finish resists grime buildup and cleans quickly

Who is this for: Demimy’s 24 Inch Mud Flap Weights Pair with Backing Plates is for vehicle owners who already have compatible 24" mud flaps and want to reduce flap movement, strengthen the mounting area, and add a matched polished finish. It’s ideal for truck drivers seeking a low-effort upgrade using bolt-on hardware and for fleet managers who want a consistent appearance across multiple vehicles. Note: rubber mud flaps are not included; confirm flap width and hole locations before purchase to ensure compatibility.
